TLC Roasters was a great coffee shop to visit! We have driven by it a few times on our way past URI or to the train station and always wondered if it was good. From the outside, it looks like your typical New England coffee shop. From the inside, they have so many things!!

Parking is on the side of the building and there’s definitely a decent amount of spots for a coffee shop. When you walk in, the atmosphere is very inviting. There’s cool mugs on the wall for sale as well as a ton of different coffees. Their menu can be a hair confusing at first but basically they make craft coffee drinks that are both hot and cold, however, you can also be given a cup with ice and make your own iced coffee with their dozen options that they have for self serve.

Now the food was great! We had a waffle breakfast sandwich with chorizo and it was the perfect combo of sweet and savory!!! My better half had a Caprese sandwich that was als great. I had an iced caramel mocha coffee and the flavors were legit. I also ordered the Snowball chai and wow, awesome seasonal twist on a classic! We cannot recommend enough. When they’re busy, you may have some waiting to sit but it was worth it. We will definitely go back!

What a gem! Wonderful selection of coffees – roasted right there – with delicious pastries and light dishes. The staff was helpful and informed. Worth going out if your way if you want a truly great cup of coffee.

If I were the dave portnoy of bacon egg and cheeses i’d give this a 8.8, my highest ranking ever. Incredible service I was gifted a free cookie for the wait and she even asked if I had an allergy. Spectacular

Stopped here while on a road trip from Illinois to Maine. So glad we did!!
The coffee was hot and good.
The cookie was nice and chewy and delicious.
Folks needing the counter were great.

They had a HUGE variety of flavored pre-brewed cold coffee- I’ve never seen that before.
They also had a large variety of different flavored coffee beans for sale.

Rhode Island coffee drinkers and brewers, you have just been put on notice with this gem ! I was at a lacrosse tournament at URI and I drove by this place I was like eh another coffee joint. The thing to do right now, but I was still like let me try it. Wow I am so glad that I did. This may be right there as a top player in the coffee game in all of Rhode Island and we know coffee. We travel 30 minutes for good coffee places! I am shocked that a place that amazing is hiding on Route 138. I also could not believe that the coffee tasted as fresh as it did, out of a jug sitting on a shelf. But it did! It was amazing. And I absolutely love that you could add regular milk, cream, almond milk or oatmilk without an extra charge. I hate when I get charged 80 cents for oatmilk and they put a splash in. Why on Earth is that 80 cents when you can get the gallon for 4 dollars and it takes 127 splashes to finish. I love the fact that they charge one price and you can add in your oatmilk and all your fixings for that price. And they don’t just offer blah fixings. We are talking about cocoa powder, cinnamon, sugar, raw sugar, liquid sugar and so much else. This is a must try in Rhode Island for all coffee lovers. Let’s go. I’ll drive !

I love the vibes and atmosphere of this place and honestly wish I could give it 5 stars, but the last couple times I have gone in there I ask for ice lattes and they give me it with 3 ice cubes in it that are melted by the time I take the first sip so I never am able to enjoy my drink. As well as I got a bagel with cream cheese a few weeks ago and couldn’t eat it because it wasn’t toasted and a sloppy mess everywhere and I didn’t have a knife to fix it. I hear their ice coffee is very good so maybe I’m missing out on their best product but so far I’m sad I can’t enjoy the only real coffee shop on the way to school 🙁

This is a great place for great coffee. They have an outstanding selection of non dairy milks! We enjoyed the soup and wraps. They have some nice snacks and muffins. The staff are delightful – quick and friendly! The inside seating is cozy and comfortable. They have ample outdoor seating surrounded by trees. This is the kind of place where locals hang out or meet up – a warm easy place to enjoy friends, excellent coffee and a pretty setting.

What a great spot – amazing selection of both hot or iced coffees and a tasty lunch menu. I had the BLT (which also comes with onion and banana peppers) and it was very good. There’s a good amount of seating inside but also nice shaded tables out back. Great spot to stop if you’re early for your train or if you’re waiting for someone to arrive.
