My husband and I went to Indo for the very first time for a date night. The food was absolutely delicious and very complex flavors that worked well together. We ordered a bottle of sake based on the servers recommendations and we were pleasantly surprised. Service was great too. We had one primary server, but all of the other servers did a great job of refilling waters, taking plates away, etc. We would definitely come back again. We loved the food, service, and general atmosphere here. It was a little pricey overall, but again we ordered about 6 small plates and a bottle of sake. Completely worth it!

Everything about this place was absolutely great from the food to the service.

We had a party of 5 an ordered almost everything on the menu. The main dishes that stood out for the entire table definitely had to be the hamachi kama, issan hamachi, and laarb. I wasn’t able to grab any pictures of all our favorite dishes but I did leave some photos below of the issan hamachi, ribs, and scallop.

Our server was very attentive and knowledgeable about the dishes; coming from the server industry I know when the restaurant is about to close sometimes the service isn’t as great but we stayed a past closing time and the service was great(our reservation was at 8:15pm).

It was my first time there and I thought it was going to be this small, intimate spot, but they actually have a lot more seating in the back plus a nice patio area. We ordered every vegetarian dish on the menu, and they were all super easy to share. Most of the dishes have a bit of spice but since I’m not great with spice I asked for the sauce on the side for a few things and that worked perfectly. The staff was super nice and gave great cocktail recommendations. The cocktail menu itself is honestly so cool with lots of unique ingredients and combinations. Overall, I get why this place is so popular. The food, drinks, and service were all top tier. I’d definitely come back again.

Place is nice, food is tasty, however, the menu is extremely limited and half the menu is raw fish. The drinks are also tasty & unique but after 2 sip, gone. They do not have meals but they rather you pick several dishes to try, which comes out at random times & left me feeling dissatisfied. You do not have to dress up at this place, jeans & a t shirt will suffice. If you want a cool spot to experiment on some good & just hang & socialize, this is the spot! In my opinion, this is not the place you go to celebrate big events like anniversaries & birthday specials. & yes the ambiance could be nice if you’re at a nice table but I was crammed up against a wall next to a large table with a bunch of loud people. Nothing romantic about it. Like I said though, it’s nice.

Amazing staff from the front of the house to the back of the house! Friendly and fun! Food is outstanding! You can tell the time and details in each dish that the Chefs take pride in what they do. The ice cream is the best in the city! Amazing cocktails! Thank you everyone for another amazing visit! I will definitely see yall soon! Absolutely amazing flavors in every bite!

I’m currently wondering why it took me so long to come to this restaurant! I read that it’s a restaurant full of nominations and recognitions, and now I perfectly understand why. All the dishes we ordered to share were impeccable in every aspect. The absolute highlight was the gyoza. We finished with a perfect mango and coconut dessert. I loved everything; I’ve already become a fan. The waiter that helped us was super gentil.

What a special place. I don’t live in St. Louis anymore but I’ve heard nothing but great things about this place. I finally had a chance to go eat there and was wowed. The flavor profiles were so unique, the play on ingredients, it was just awesome. I cannot recommend this place enough.

To scallop was exceptional. ️

iNDO was the best food experience for our long weekend in StL. From the moment my wife and I sat down and greeted by our waiter Daniel to the dessert, everything was above expectations. The salmon was perfect with exquisite crispy skin and flavorful sauce. The hamachi was delicate. The house made chocolate ice cream with brownie bits and red beans provided great texture without any over powering sweetness.

My boyfriend and I came here for my birthday and WOW!! What an amazing experience. We got the short rib curry and fried garlic noodles. Cannot recommend enough. Sarah was our waitress and she explained each item thoroughly even though we asked about almost everything on the menu lol. And then I decided to pass on dessert because I was stuffed and Sarah gave me a little something to go anyways!! Last but not least, I left my purse at the restaurant and when we came back to pick it up, Peter the host came out to the car to drop it off for me. I didn’t even need to go into the restaurant. 10/10 service, 10/10 food I will definitely be back and recommend to everyone!

I waited on Indo for some time as I have received mixed reviews. After trying out a range of the sashimis, ribs, and cocktails, I would say I have to agree. Some of the dishes like the sake sashimi have a great flavor but some are over flavored like the sugar plum ribs. All in all, it’s a cute trendy date spot, but not a place I’ll return.
