I’ve been to Navy Beach multiple times but the service seems to be getting worse. We were a party of six for a 530 outdoor reservation. Our waitress was very sweet, but did not communicate well. If you’re looking to have a specialty cocktail, they do not serve a martini in a glass outdoors. You have to stay indoors for that. Only serve paper cups outside. That was disappointing. I ordered a martini and it came in a paper cup half full, if you’re going to give me a paper cup at least fill it…..it pitiful. No one received their food at the same time and three people didn’t receive their drinks till we were halfway done with our meal. How do you not have anyone’s drinks ready for over an hour? We ordered a lemonade that was $7 and an iced tea that was $3.50 Does that make any sense? My son ordered spaghetti and penne pasta came out instead, now I understand that they don’t always have the type of pasta you’re looking for, but the kitchen and the waitress should have expressed that to us instead of just bringing out whatever they felt like it. Again, the communication was horrible. I did enjoy the salmon tartar, and the other food that we had ,The view is beautiful, but not sure it’s worth the horrible service.

LOVE! The view (sunset side)& the chill vibe On the sand dining if so desired, lounging couches in the sand & also picnic tables/plastic patio table outdoor-see video) large indoor bar & dining area. Families welcome. We just loved the relaxed atmosphere. Can dress up or not. Food great, service slow, ( Monday night-indoor empty. Servers were nice but slow and had to ask others for drink, etc. enjoy the view, about the view, but get your drink order in quick cuz you might be waiting. Such a great area. Quiet quaint. On Navy beach. My hubby had the cod special. Very good!(but if your hungry order a side)I had the Buddha bowl. Came dry-had to ask for a dressing. Just ok. They had a vinaigrette. Would definitely go back. We were a walk in for 2, so got a great porch bar seat and were there early. If you want to sit outside, make a reservation. In a weird area, but don’t let that deter you. Loved.

Great local restaurant food was actually really good better than I had expected. If you come with a big group, try and get a table with some couches when we went it was pretty low-key not a huge crowd, but this place is known to get very busy. We had the Mexican corn, tuna tartare, mac & cheese and calamari. Calamari was very light, delicate and delicious and the tuna was fresh. The drinks were good all around. No complaints solid spot. Great location.

The hostess was horrible. She was disrespectful and should not be interacting withe the public. Bar tender was great. Food was average. Sunset views were amazing

We had the amazing pleasure of photographing a wedding at Navy Beach a few years ago! It is the absolute perfect venue for a celebration. It’s tucked away just outside of town, and really feels like you stumbled upon an incredibly special, well kept secret that should be known to locals only. The decor is nautical, but classy with so much good taste. The staff was all super nice, too (: It’s the ideal setting for a good time. Their ceremony took place right outside the restaurant on the beach with waterfront views. Shortly after, we caught such an beautiful sunset. While their guests enjoyed a relaxed cocktail hour, the couple gave us a few moments to create some memories against a backdrop of the setting sun and gentle waves.

I absolutely loved this place. the food is so fresh and delicious. We got the calamari mexican corn, and garlic parmesan fries as our appetizers and ordered a lobster roll and grilled fish tacos as our mains. The calamari was sitting in a sweet chili sauce that I really liked. It was crispy and not too chewy.
You can get a table right by the water if it’s not too windy! The view is stunning. 10/10 for me-no notes.

Their grilled avocado with shrimps was very fresh and tasty. Perfect for the hot summer days. Their salmon dish was very light and healthy, and the butter chicken was delicious. Drinks were also pretty good, not water down like other places. Two drinks will get you happy or tipsy depending on your tolerance 🙂 … The general atmosphere of the restaurant is very pleasant. Awesome place to see the sunset.

ordered 2 pitchers in the beginning, and a few cocktails, but the sangria was totally watered down and the mule was pretty bad too. The waitress understood and took them back and we continued with the tequila cocktail, which was amazing.
For appetizers we got 2x crab cake (amazing), kale salad (very good), 2x ceviche (I don’t understand why the excessive amount of popcorn on top but shrimp was good), 2x salmon tartars (decent – nothing special at all), and 2x mussels (pretty good if you like sausages), and 3 tuna crudos because 2 just went through so fast and it was great.
For the entrees we ordered the 2x ribeyes (medium rare and it was perrrrfect), scallops (very good), salmon (didn’t try but my friend didn’t like it at all), and tilefish curry (very good).
We ordered 2 of every side on the menu. The Mac n cheese was great. The Brussels sprouts were my FAVE. Cauliflower and fries were good too.
Now… After we paid our bill, 2 of the girls actually wanted a shot so they went to the bar to get shots. The bartenders were extremely rude, denied them a shot, yet they ended up doing a shot together in the back of the bar, and then told one of the girls from my groups that she needs to leave.
Overall reThis place honestly has beautiful sunsets. The food is 50/50 depending on what you order. Half the staff is terrible.

My daughter and husband had their wedding reception at Navy Beach restaurant recently. Service, food and venue were first rate. Was asked multiple times if all was well and communications with Franklin were great through the planning process and day of wedding. What a fun and festive vibe on the beach for the cocktail hour then dinner in the restaurant overlooking the beach! Bar service was polite, friendly and very helpful. All servers were polite and responsive. The food was fresh, well presented, perfectly seasoned and expertly cooked. Best meal I have had in a very long time! Guests were raving about the seafood appetizers and main meal. I loved the quartered perfectly cooked burger appetizer! A perfect venue for the wedding! Weather highlights its beauty. Fun vibe!

Went Saturday afternoon it was kind of empty. We sat outside to eat and have a drink. It was a very nice setting with DJ playing music. Food was good and waitress was very nice.
We arrived around 3:45 and they had to check if the kitchen was still open and a gentleman said it was. Valet parked our car and we headed in where the hostess said the kitchen was closed. We went to leave and the gentleman brought us to the hostess and had her sit us down. Some of the other employees were questioning each-other why we were sat. We ignored it and enjoyed our time. Thank you to the gentleman who helped us and the valet!!
Would go back again!
