I used to love this place we visited almost twice a month and I wanted to celebrate my birthday but on the 27 when we arrived they have a huge sing PERMANENTLY CLOSED!!! & under new management even the info on the website still active !!! it was a shame because we love this place

I had an excellent dining experience at Amerikan Ichi in Placerville, CA. This clean and cozy spot serves amazing food with high-quality sushi and fresh ingredients. The customer service was outstanding, making the entire experience even better. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a top-notch sushi place!… oh, and the Lobster roll, everyone needs to try at least once, so good!

I ordered the bento box , with egg rolls , salad, California roll, Hawaiian chicken, and rice. The chicken had a blackness and burnt taste, I told the wait staff but got no satisfaction of response. The sushi was just grocery store average, there’s roll was good , some of the items were not as hot as they should be , and it was 20.00. So my next sushi will be at teriyaki junction , in the same parking lot.this was our first visit to American ichi sushi, and we hit a very yuck experience, sorry but true.

Worse experience ever! I used to love this place. Food was thrown together, took 40 minutes. Asked the male member of staff for soy sauce, he decided to ogle a female in front of her boyfriend instead. Even when I walked passed him to get what I needed from another area and said, dreadful service he didn’t flinch! Not bothering with place again. Such a shame, it used to be good.

Best Sushi we have ever eaten. The price is great and the rolls not only have beautiful presentation but they taste unbelievable. The staff is amazing right from the owner to the chiefs right down to the waiters/waitresses all are amazing.

The food never disappoints, and the server was friendly and on point. The lunch rush is usually pretty busy, but this visit was low key. I liked that my coworkers and I didn’t have to shout to be heard when talking to each other.

I would leave negative stars if I could. The service was absolutely garbage, 30 min just to order and finally got our food an hour after we got there. The sushi rolls were slapped together, taste was mediocre. There’s better restaurants around. We should have left and gone to the Mexican restaurant next door, we would have gotten to eat sooner.

Fantastic sushi! Our first time here, so we just had rolls, but the food rolling out to other tables looked amazing too. Very fresh, very tender. Zero tough spots or fibers. Colorful and beautiful presentation too. Service was friendly but very busy, so be prepared to wait for any followup attention. Cozy local vibe, too, loved it!

I had a horrible experience at this restaurant yesterday. We were a party of 8. Not only did our food take more than an hour to arrive at our table, but the staff, with the exception of our waitress, couldn’t have cared less. On top of that, EVERYONE who had the tuna are very ill today. Never going back. Telling everyone I know to give this restaurant a miss.
