This place was absolutely phenomenal and a fantastic choice if you’re in the area. I had their special, which included a ribeye, and it was easily one of the best ribeyes I’ve ever had. Huge thank you to Sara for going above and beyond—she even sent my beanie back to me all the way to Florida after I accidentally left it behind. Outstanding food, outstanding service, and an outstanding restaurant. Highly recommend!

The Blue Lion was fantastic. The elk tenderloin was one of the best dishes I’ve ever had, perfectly cooked and incredibly flavorful. The ambiance is warm and inviting, and the service was both professional and genuinely friendly. All of the food we tried was excellent. Such a lovely place and absolutely worth a visit.

This was by far our favorite dinner experience during our trip to Jackson! The service was exceptional, loved the vibe/energy of the place-feels so homey and intimate. There was live music-a soft guitar playing the background which I really appreciate! I hate when the live music is so overbearing and actually takes away from this experience-this only added to the intimate vibe in the place.
Our food was great-we had the elk meatballs and stuffed mushrooms to start. The entree’s were incredible we loved the lamb and the elk tenderloin-both were 10/10. Our server was extremely attentive and helpful in making meal selections as well. A great dinner and experience and we look forward to returning on our next trip to Jackson!

I had a fantastic evening at The Blue Lion with friends, and it was such a warm, inviting spot! We arrived with a small dog, who settled quietly under the table, and the staff were completely fine with it.

The vibe of the place is fantastic, with this authentic, historic feel that just draws you in. We loved every bite, from the appetizers to the desserts—everything was spot-on delicious. They also offer non-alcoholic cocktails, which was a huge plus for me! The service was super friendly, and the atmosphere was just perfect. We noticed they have a beautiful outdoor area, but it wasn’t open yet since it’s not quite the season. I can only imagine how amazing it must be to dine out there!

Highly recommend swinging by The Blue Lion if you’re looking for great food and a cozy, memorable night out!

Went here last night while in town for business on a suggestion from a business partner and glad I did. I ordered the French onion soup and shrimp scampi that came with a salad. The food was phenomenal with great flavors. I also enjoyed the guy playing guitar while I ate. The service was top notch to boot. Will definitely be back next time.

We drove in from a day full of hiking in the Grand Tetons and had reservations at the blue lion. We had seen weeks before that it was highly rated and took reservations through google maps! Everyone talked about how good the lamb chops were but we decided on the elk tenderloin, roasted salmon, and seafood scampi! All of the items turned out great! The food was delicious, waiter was very attentive and knowledgeable, and atmosphere was great! We ended up choosing the mud pie for dessert, it was a great way to finish up dinner! I would highly recommend the blue lion and plan to go back in the future! The online reservations through Google worked great, we just walked up and were almost immediately seated! (Also, the rustic inn has a shuttle that will drop you off and pick you up, making it super nice) One side note, if you’re looking for a fast meal this is not it, we were there for around 2 hours but the food quality was well worth the wait!

When we go on vacation, we like to plan our evening dinners at trending places to enhance our overall experience. The Blue Lion made the list. It’s right in the heart of Jackson Hole. We had a reservation and arrived early. We were invited to hang out in the lounge until our table was ready. We ordered cocktails while we waited. I had the Elk Hunter. It was delicious. Our waiter was super friendly and took the time to go over the menu as well as let us know the restaurant has been around for sometime and the Lamb chops have been on the menu since 1978. They are the reason why people visit this place. However we were not feeling lamb chops. And it’s suspect when the best item on the menu is also the most expensive. For an appetizer we had the Elk Meatballs. They were pretty good. My wife ordered the trout and I had the NY Steak. I asked for it medium. It took forever to get our food and the steak came out well done. It was inedible. I basically had a couple Elk Meatballs and a small house salad. The waiter apologized for the overcooked steak and removed it from the bill. Do not make the same mistake as me. Just order the lamb chops.

Been before and return every time we are in the area. As always, very accommodating of my companion who has significant allergies. Server was amazing. Live music was top notch. Brought friends this time who had never been to Jackson. Totally converted them. Excellent Elk, Lamb, and everything else. Masters in their fields.
