Amazing atmosphere with delicious, delightful plates of food. The tuna poke nachos are amazing! The drinks are on point…not so strong you can’t enjoy them, but perfectly balanced and creative. Cory and Lori were our bartenders, and they were so amazing!! I had the Mai Tai and the Pussers Painkeller, and both were AMAZING! Live music on Thursdays too! Unique decor and comfortable seating areas.

Our visit was a last minute date night opportunity when we realized we were suddenly kid free for the night. Both my husband and I had been wanting to try this place out for awhile, and I’m so happy we did! Our bartender was Ashley, and she was phenomenal! She was so friendly and laidback. The drinks were superb (some of which she created herself for the menu). And I loved that the drink cups were even themed with the drink names. We ordered the Bikini Wax (served in a high heel shoe), Mai Tai, and Zombie (served in a skeleton type tiki mug). One drink was so strong (which I was warned of in advance), that I’m pretty sure I screwed the math up on her tip when we went to pay. I’ve got you next time, girl! Thd food was super yummy as well. We ordered chicken skewers and jalepeno poppers. We had such an amazing experience here. It’s a nice change to have an adults only atmosphere where we were launched into a fun tiki themed environment. Highly recommend!

Great food, great service, and super cool atmosphere.
We got the Pork Belly, Tuna Stack, and the Mushroom Blue Burger. The Pork Belly was super tender, nice and crispy, and the sauce was perfect, not too sweet. The rice cake with the Runa Stack was great, nice and crispy too. We added Bacon to the Mushroom Blue Burger and it was 100% the right play. The Duck Wings took a few visits for them to be in stock, but were worth the wait. They were all drums and no flats, but still super good. The chili sauce on them was nice. We also got a Roper Romp, Painkiller, Zombie, and a Puka Puka Punch and they were very good.
Cory and Lauren took great care of us, even running to the back to make changes after orders were put in.
The Atmosphere was great. Cool lights, bar, booths, lounge area, live music, skulls and skeletons everywhere, it even smelled good with an incense diffuser going.

Great place to get the island feel and grab a fun tiki drink. The cocktails are mixed to perfection. The atmosphere is fun and offers areas for a small group of friends to seclude themselves and catch-up. You can grab dinner next store or some small bites in the lounge. The Merara Tiki Lounge is a great find in Port Clinton/Catawba Island. They are 4 for 4 on my Authentic Tiki rating scale (admittedly subjective) – 1) Tiki vibe/Ambience, 2) Decor, 3) Awesome Drink Menu of craft rum cocktails, including the classics and 4) Sells Tiki mugs.

They have the best tuna poke bowl as a summer special. In the winter you can’t pass up the burgers, duck wings and pizza! Best mixed drinks next to JJs in the area. Grab a couch with friends or sit at the bar.
