So very glad this place was recommended to me last minute the day before Valentine’s Day!
The establishment itself is so cute, very clean, and accessible.
I got my partner and I a half dozen chocolate covered strawberries, half dozen valentine’s cupcakes, a red velvet cookie each, and I also grabbed a Flour Child Bakery crew neck sweatshirt in baby pink.
The strawberries were delicious! (Albeit messy as you bit into them and the chocolate cracked into pieces- hold a napkin below as you bite is my advice! Hah! Inevitable with this type of food, of course.)
The cupcakes were also super yummy and by far the most beautiful cupcakes I’ve ever seen.
The cookies were a great yummy treat.
I wasn’t a fan of the bit of mine dipped in white chocolate because the wc kind of overpowered the cookie, but I’m just not a white chocolate fan- nothing against the cookies themselves or against flour child by any means.
The sweater I got was an XL and fit true to size, had a great front and back design, and they had black as an option as well, I believe.
Prices were overall reasonable at $20 for the 6 chocolate strawberries, $15 for the 6 gorgeous cupcakes, $2.50/pc for the cookies, and $30 for the sweatshirt.
I would recommend this bakery to legitimately anyone looking for incredibly tasty treats at fair prices, as well as cute apparel, handmade crafts for sale, and the other side has a sit down cafe style setup with 5 or 6 tables, where you can pop in for restaurant style food and drink in addition to the bakery side.
The staff were so warm and friendly and answered all my questions.

This place was awesome. I’ll definitely be back. That spicy breakfast burrito looked small, but I barely finished it and didn’t eat again for hours. It was packed with every ingredient, and it was just good. I’m not even gonna talk about the pastries, I’m going to let these pictures speak to you. My advise… GO THERE NOW!!! You won’t be disappointed.

Went here as a weekend treat with my husband. Got the breakfast bagel sandwiches- good bagel, but the egg & sausage patties were gross (heated from frozen). Asked for ice waters, got 1. Paid $4.50 for a piece of cake that was a few days old based on how stale it was; served without a fork. Frosting was so sugary and sour, inedible . Very disappointing.

I’ve gotten bagels from here several times and they’re always consistent and delicious. The jalapeno cheddar bagels are my favorite. My wife really enjoys the chocolate chip bagels. You can’t go wrong. The cinnamon rolls are decent. All the employees are super friendly and helpful.

Flour Child Bakery is such a great addition to downtown Grand Ledge! I love hiking at the Ledges and then going to Flour Child for a coffee and one of their amazing pastries or bagels (the cinnamon crunch is my favorite). The service is friendly and the atmosphere is cute and fun. Definitely pop in if you have the chance!

Great lunch. My wife and I both had hot grilled Italian sandwiches. Super tasty bread with some good pesto and possibly home made chips. Loved the coffee too. Only criticism is I didn’t appreciate some of the rap music with f bombs and foul language,other than that everything including the staff was great. Would definitely come back!

My king cake didn’t last one day past when we opened the box I can’t believe I spent so much money on something that wasn’t even fresh 24 hours after… maybe made these little too early in advance. It’s hard as a rock…… everyone raves about this place so we decided to give it a try for our business, yikes maybe we’ll think twice but who knows maybe we’ll try again. Not sure how I feel. King cake is really hard to replicate A for effort, C for flavor and consistency
