Overall good experience but meh IMHO.
Most Mexican restaurants offer your drink refills to go, but here, they charge extra for that.
Whomever is making the business decisions here has no experience in customer service. However, food is great, but if you want your common customary experience of a Great Mexican restaurant, keep looking.
Last note: one visit they were out of chips. They were out of salad, and out of salsa. No discount, even tho they charge if you want more, but no discount when they are out of something. So same price with or without certain items. Like a casino, the house always wins.
We can’t ever get enough of their Salsa and bean dip. We’ve even come by to pick up just that lol. They need to bottle up that salsa and sell over the counter. We’ve gone out of our way for the salsa. Their tacos are also off the hook! Carne asada and fish tacos are the way to go.
Every-time we have gone the staff has always been super friendly and attentive. Restaurant itself is large and spacious.
The restaurant itself is pretty large. The bar area wasn’t open yet and seemed to be used for storage, but there was still plenty of space to sit and relax. I tried a strawberry margarita , it tasted more like a mix, but it still did the job!
It feels like the spot has a lot of potential, even if it’s not showing everything it’s got yet. Most of the customers and staff seemed to know each other, so it definitely has that local hangout feel. Service was quick, everyone was upbeat, and the energy was great. My son and I even caught ourselves singing “¡Vámonos a la playa!” that’s how fun the atmosphere was! would come back
