2nd time visiting a Off The Hook location. 1st time was in Lafayette La. Gumbo was exactly what the name says Off The Hook. This time I ordered Catfish Acadiana, cup of Red Beans and for dessert I had Bread Pudding bites. My man Darrion suggested I get the Catfish fried, Great Choice. Ive eaten the roast beef poboy many times and this last time was the last time. Order two poboys and ended up with the worst ones yet. When I showed the them the issue I was told that it was the way they always made them. Not true though. More pickles than roast beef and very dry French bread.

We stopped in Hammond for the night while traveling and found this amazing place to eat. Truly fantastic! We both had the Roast Beef Debris Po Boy and Onion Rings with Hook Sauce. Oh my goodness, so so good! And a lot of food.
The people working were all very friendly and helpful, and the restaurant was spotless. We would gladly go out of our way to eat here.

Awesome from top to bottom. We brought our baseball team in at 8:20pm and keep in mind the location closes at 9pm. The team welcomed us in and even offered to allow the team to dine in even with it being so close to closing time. The manager Ya’Nira gathered her team and they got to work. They worked as a team with respect and dignity and got 42 orders in and out before closing. The food was hot and delicious. Thanks to an amazing team Joell, Alyssa, Sophia, and Jaylan. Top tier service and food.

Today I decided to try Off the Hook. Everything was great. I had a Roast Beef Poboy, fries, and red beans &rice. It was delicious . I was told all the food is good. I’ll be back to try the fish and the hamburgers. I’ve included before and after photos. As you can see, no leftovers for me.

We stopped in for lunch for the first time and just as we had our plates cleared, the super friendly staff came over to ask us to join a competition. We picked a number 1-10 and won a free platter! The food was awesome and the platter was such a fun surprise that made our day! Highly recommend and will definitely be back!

I’ve been to Off the Hook in Hammond about five times now, and overall I really like it—especially because they have a drive-through, which is very convenient. The food is usually good, and the service has generally been solid.
I’ve only had one minor issue in the past when I ordered a combo and realized I didn’t get fries after pulling into a parking spot in the parking lot. I went back and they fixed it without any problem, so it wasn’t a big deal.
Today, however, was disappointing. I ordered a grilled shrimp wrap ahead of time, and it said it would be ready at 12:43. I went through the drive-through around 12:40ish and was told I would need to come inside because the order wasn’t ready. I wasn’t feeling well, which was the whole reason I ordered early and planned to use the drive-through. While I was sitting in a parking spot waiting, no one even came through the drive-through, and no one offered to bring the food out to my car.
There was no clear explanation of what the issue was, which made it more frustrating. It was extremely inconvenient and disappointing, especially since convenience is one of the main reasons I choose to come here.
I still like the food and want to continue supporting this location, but today’s experience missed the mark.

Best burger ever. I ordered my burger with grilled onions, cheese, bacon, mustard, and ketchup and that was it. It was a delicious juicy burger. It was cooked well done as requested.
