We have ordered twice to-go under new ownership and we were amazed with how fresh and well prepared the sushi was. Amazing presentation as well. They also called to confirm items on our order which I thought was very thorough and thoughtful.

10/10 this place is absolutely phenomenal! It exceeded all expectations. We enjoyed the lunch specials and crab Rangoon’s. Service was quick and spot on. Presentation was beautifully done. Restaurant was quiet and clean. Great music, great staff, great food, great vibes! If in the area I would definitely return! (Forgot to take photos before we started enjoying!)

I’m only giving it 4 stars because it felt too rushed. The food came out super quick and it was good but before I knew it bill was on the table and we had to go. I would like a little less rush, there were 3 tables total

it was amazing my daughter and I had dinner here the vegan pho was excellent i ordered the habachi first and it had noodles rice and lots of vegetables which was amazing for the price i got i will be back soon thank you your service team was fast and friendly.

Food was good quality at a reasonable price, and the drinks were cheap! On top of that, it was a fun environment (especially the aquarium bar) and the employees were very attentative. The bartender made sure the kitchen knew about my nut allergy and took care of us very well. We will surely be back! I feel like this establishment has a lot to offer and I think they could benefit from increasing their marketing/social media presence becuase this is truly a gem of downtown Lakeland!!

I just had lunch at Daisy Garden Lakeland (formerly Tsunami Hibachi), in downtown Lakeland, under new ownership. They are now open daily, including Sundays.
The menu offers a great variety, including Sushi and Hibachi, with Vietnamese dishes such as Pho, Bún Bò Huế, egg rolls, and fresh summer rolls… I tried several sushi rolls and they were very good, but what truly impressed me was the pho with beef. As a Vietnamese person who knows pho well, I can say this is the best pho I’ve had in the area.
I also had the pleasure of meeting Khanh, the new owner. He was born in Vietnam and is the son of an American pilot who met his mother, a woman from Central Vietnam, during his service. Khanh later moved to the U.S., and successfully ran restaurants in Minnesota, and eventually came to Florida for the sunshine. He and his wife, Dung, have now settled in Lakeland — a lovely story.
Highly recommend stopping by and enjoying a hot bowl of pho, especially in this great weather.

Looking for a great meal in the Lakeland area? This is a great choice we stumbled upon. We were seated promptly and perused the extensive sushi menu. We went with edamame with garlic and lime for starters, a hibachi meal of scallop and shrimp at market price (served with miso soup, ginger salad, noodles, fried rice, mushrooms, and zucchini), and an Orlando roll add cream cheese. Everything was out quickly and absolutely delicious. Service was great with Rania. The entire meal came to $63 plus tip.

Visited for the 1st time serviced by Jessica, she was awesome. Friendly, very attentive and provided excellent customer service. We ordered chicken teriyaki, noodles were stuck and rice was bland, family was not satisfied, however, I ordered lobster & steak hibachi and I enjoyed it. The soup and salad were good, but would have preferred hot soup, the soup was cool vs hot. The assorted sushi was good, my daughter enjoyed and rate it a 4 out of 5. The dessert was a 4 out of 5 and the food was a 3 out of 5. The location was nice and spacious, but floors were slippery. I would recommend trying as everyone has different taste buds.

Their dinner hibachi special is a pretty good deal and very filling! Their aquarium bar is a nice gimmick, but I’ve only ever seen shrimp in there. I’ve tried their sushi and it was okay. Service was very attentive.
