Alright place. Waffle sandwiches are a little different but decent. Took about 45min to get and saw people who ordered after us get their food first. First cup of coffee was okay but the refill off the fresh pot was ultra bitter. Probably not a place I would go back to.

Did not have a great experience at all. Arrived at 9:35am for breakfast. Ordered quickly and waited… and waited… and waited. After 30 minutes asked the waitress about our order. Said it was coming right up. Several minutes later…three tables who arrived after us all received their food. I asked again and was told ours was almost ready. 15 minutes later, the waitress comes back with a menu and said the kitchen lost our ticket. This tells me our waitress never checked on our order when she said our food was almost ready. Not a big fan of of waiting over an hour for food that never arrived nor staff who lie.
We left when we were asked to re order. Good may have been good. We will never know. If a discount or free would have been offered for our trouble, we might have waited it out.

This was a really lovely little mom and pop place. The waitress was the owner and it just opened in April (so don’t be afraid to go based on limited reviews-they just haven’t had time to grow yet!). The menu offered vegetarian options (many of them!), which is a rare gem around these parts. Coffee was delicious and the my husband says his savory lunch waffle sandwich was outstanding. The options seemed limited to a variety of waffle sandwiches (both breakfast and lunch) and breakfast burritos. I’m not a huge wake sandwich girl, but mine was quite tasty! I expect as they grow the menu will expand? They also have a bar with pool tables and am excellent patio overlooking downtown Lead in nice weather.Worth a try!

We went here for breakfast. They had a limited menu due to the rally. We ordered biscuits and gravy. At about an hour when we had not gotten our breakfast I started inquiring as to when are we going to get our food we were told it was coming up. In the meantime a table that came in 45 minutes behind us and obviously friendly with the young lady who claimed to be the owners niece placed their order and had it within 15 minutes. They only had a few tables through all this. Absolutely one of the worst experiences I’ve ever had. I would not recommend this place.

This was an awesome find! Within two minutes of sitting down, one of my sons knocked over his water, ruining a menu and dousing the wrapped silverware our waitress had just set down. She was completely unflapped and went out of her way to make him feel better about it. And our food! Complete heaven. My veggie wrap was perfect – not too dry, not too soggy and my family could not stop talking about the bacon. They were only three bites in when they all asked to go back the next day. An awesome find!

WOW. Best breakfast not only of our entire trip, but that I have had in a really long time. The homemade corned beef hash was out of this world – homemade peach scones were outrageous and the coffee was dark and delicious! Prices are also very reasonable. Perfect way to start our day of adventure in the Black Hills!

What a shame. My family just moved to Lead. We love going out for breakfast. We were hoping this could be our new spot as we live just up the road. Disorganized, to say the least. The restaurant was a little under half capacity and we still waited almost an hour and 30 minutes. There was people there before us that waited over an hour. The last straw was seeing someone who had came in an hour after us get their food in about ten minutes. We confronted the staff who had nothing but ridiculous excuses and were just completely dismissive of us having an issue. We weren’t even allowed to talk to a manager. I will find a better restaurant and I suggest others do the same.

Everything I have ever eaten that Donica makes is amazing. She continues to surprise me with her new and creative concoctions. My first meal here, as a close by resident, was a waffle sandwich. It was outstanding! I loved her homemade pineapple jam that day. What a treat. Will be back!
