Salty and expensive. Ordered 1 Tostada Mixta, 1 Tostada de Camaron Crudo, three drinks and a side of avocado and the total was almost $70!
The seafood was inedible, almost like they soaked the seafood in a saltwater brine to mask the old fishy flavor.
The service was decent, our server was actually very accommodating and was willing to take the food back and replace it however the replacement was just as salty that we had to actually put WATER on the food to dilute it. May have gone on an off day or something but I would not go back.
Also their highchair they provided had a broken buckle so we couldn’t secure our baby properly

Just drove an hour to Mariscos el Vago, and let me tell you, it was worth every minute! Lethy, The food and rolitas were freaking amazing, and the service was excellent. If you’re looking for an unforgettable experience, this is the place to be!

First time here but not my last. Had the NY steak and it was so juicy and well cooked, it was heavenly. I tried the Molcajete, the camarones a la diabla, and even the pizza. I am very demanding with food and this place meets and exceeds my expectations. The salsa in the camarones a la diabla is so good, i want it bottled. The aguas frescas were so good and the prices reasonable. They also have karaoke so bring the whole family. Jessica was our waitress and she was amazing. She was attentive and very helpful. The cooks were friendly and the other waitresses very nice too. I will definitely drive from Riverside to Maywood to come again.

The restaurant is very nice and clean. They have a a variety of food to choose from. I really enjoyed their tacos gobernador (next time I’ll ask for it extra doradito) and the cilantro sauce that came along with it. Their chips and salsa were good, especially the salsa! The salsa had a spicy flavor and that’s what I really like in a salsa. Their ceviche was good too, however the shrimp and jaiba weren’t marinated and I was slightly disappointed because it had little flavor. But I guess they have their reason for not marinating it. On the other hand their hot wings were very good! I will definitely return for more tacos gobernador and to try their pizzas and their other menu items.

Omg if you love SEA FOOD this is the spot. The seafood is always prepared as you order and its fresh and healthy for the soul. The employees, and I say this from the ❤️ heart they are consistent and always eager to get the job done no matter how Big or small the tasks and they do it with kindness and respect. I applaud the owner for keeping the Restaurant clean and orderly. I patronize this restaurant every weekend.

Drinks where ok… the sample ceviche had good flavor however the oysters preparados with aguachile we ordered had a strong smell we where not able to eat them … the guac hadostely vegetables (alot of cucumber, tomatoes, onion and cilantro) …. to make maters worst I over heard older couple complain of napkin found inside soup!!

Only had the camarones culichi with a couple beers and my buddy had a cóctel. These shrimp apparently prepped with a very creamy, cheesy green sauce, overall Everything was good. Would love to go back and try other things. Menu had a nice variety.

The food is great and the ambiance is wonderful. An awesome place to catch the games. Kendra was wonderful. Friendly smiles and very attentive. Would definitely come back and hope to have Kendra serve our party again. See you guys soon .
