Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn’t help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we’re still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.

Stop here , while Traveling to Houston from Georgetown. Fairly New Establishment. As Far as atmosphere , it was Modern and extremely Clean , even Men’s Room which was extremely Refreshing. Staff was Very Friendly and Welcoming. Service was Swift. Food , well it’s Whataburger and Was Good as Expected . Highly Recommend this location . Enjoy

Good old Whataburger. Masterful AC at this spot. I come for lunch and almost every morning for breakfast…my one complaint is that NO STAFF IS EVER AT THE FRONT COUNTER WHEN I CONE IN. It’s almost comical. Never. Always in back on their phone or eating. I don’t really mind but it is a bit annoying for some reason to stand there and nobody up front.

Staff extremely nice, made a fresh coffee and it was a Senior Coffee, brought it out to me when ready and went to get me my cream and sugar.Very sweet, very courteous.Love this Whataburger! We were there because the one my sister had picked up order in Taylor drive through had forgot most of the items for nieces so we drove into Elgin to get burgers to go with all the fries they Did get on there!

I had been driving on the road for over an hour in very ice road conditions. I just got off of work after working a 15 hour shift. The lady gave me a free coffee on the house. I pulled over to get something to eat and was very tired. I just want to say thank you so much for the coffee. Thanks to her I got home safely. Great customer service.

Whataburger is always good and cooked fresh. Love their salad with the grilled chicken. Would not say they have a good atmosphere since it is a great food restaurant.

On 10/06/25 I stopped off after work to pick up dinner. We order a spicy chicken sandwich. When I got my order the bread was old and the chicken was fried in old smelly oil and to make matters worse the chicken was burnt. I went to the counter and asked for a new sandwich. The ladies at the counter were mean and rude. They did offer to make us a new sandwich, but was told it’s going to be fried in the same smelly oil. I changed my order to something new. But then I saw all the kitchen staff and cashiers talking about my order… I decided to cancel my order all together. I wasn’t rude and I don’t know why I received such horrible customer service. The sandwich was inedible. I just wanted a fresh sandwich. I’m extremely disappointed in Whataburger!

The food was good but I sat in the drive thru for a solid 15-20 minutes and the line wasn’t even that long. I don’t know what the employees are doing back there but they need to work on their pace BADLY.

The team working tonight went above & beyond, especially whoever was shift lead. I have an anaphylactic food allergy and asked for an accomodation to a salad. Not only was everyone very professional and friendly, but they helped me figure out the cheapest and most effective way to order for the future so I can have this again & again. Thankful for the genuinely friendly and allergy-alert service! Will come back for sure.

Me & my wife arrived around 9:30pm today and went through the drive thru to order our food . As we pulled up to pay, there was a line, so we had to wait. We sat in line for a good 15 minutes when we noticed the employees putting bags of food at the pick-up window from multiple customers getting all cold. When I arrived to get my food at the window, I noticed my drinks all watery with melted ice & drinks tasted all watery. Asked them if they could remake my food & drinks bc they had been sitting there for 10 mins & would wait, but they still tried to deny it bc they were too busy for the night. I asked for my money back but then the manager who I was speaking to who I did not get his name said he’d remake our food & make it first priority to come out fresh if we waiting a couple minutes. I decided to go inside the restaurant & wait for my food. Within a minute an employee walks up to me & tries to hand me my drinks without my food being ready & told her that the manager I spoke to would give me my food & drinks together instead of having the drinks served getting watery & ice all melted. The young lady then proceeded to give me attitude & asked that the drinks would be put in the fridge for me while I waited for my food & told her that I wanted my drinks remade again when my food comes out. She walks out to the back & proceeds to tell everybody else the situation that was happening & all the female employees started to talk bad about what I requested. They then handed me my food & cups so that we could serve ourselves & checked to make sure my food was correct. The kids’ meal I ordered was made incorrectly & told them I asked for a plain & dry hamburger, but instead, it came with mustard. Another older lady Manager called Christina came up to me & tried to be funny saying that we weren’t specific with how plain & dry I wanted my daughters burger when I specifically explained to the drive thru worker I wanted a plain meat & buns on my kids burger. She remade me the burger & mentioned that if we still weren’t satisfied with the food & the situation with her employees being unprofessional talking back to customers ” me & my wife ” to come back on Monday to speak to on duty GM Wesley. As we got home, all of our food was cold , especially the fries. My daughter didn’t even eat her food bc it was cold , we tried to heat up the food for her, hoping she’d eat it but just left it alone. Believe me, I will be back Monday to speak to Wesley about this issue that happened tonight, 2-28-25 & ask for my money back.
