We live in WNY and this is better than any Thai we’ve had in Buffalo (or Rochester, when we’ve visited). It was so delicious, fresh, and an excellent value. The service was also great and the atmosphere was nicer than most, with some booth seating and lots of pretty plants. I wish I had this restaurant in closeby but I will absolutely be back the next time I’m in Syracuse. We were there for the weekend and ended up dining there both days, it was so good!

I chose Thai Love NY because of its convenient location near the SYR airport, but unfortunately my visit fell short in multiple ways. I specifically told the server I did not want broccoli in my tom yum noodles, yet the dish was served with broccoli anyway. When I pointed this out, the server took the bowl back but didn’t offer an apology, nor did she check back afterward to ensure the corrected dish was satisfactory. In addition, the restaurant was not even busy and I was the only diner at that time.

The replacement bowl was noticeably lacking in ingredients compared to the first one, almost as if it was hastily thrown together. To add to the overall lack of hospitality, there was no “thank you” or acknowledgment when the bill was presented.

Given the combination of poor service and inconsistency in the food, I don’t think I’ll be returning. Convenience alone isn’t enough to make up for the experience.

This restaurant is a lovely place. I love the atmosphere inside. They have many plants around and many cultural items to make the place feel like Thailand. The food is phenomenal. I love their food. I got the pad prig king and it was bursting with flavor. The people there are also very nice and provide great service to customers. Definitely a place I’ll be a regular at.

Super good! I got the tofu pad Thai with medium spice! Super tasty. The raspberry milk tea sorta tasted like strawberry syrup so I wouldn’t get that again but the coffee was DELICIOUS!!!

Lovely place, spicy, and flavorful. Honestly the peanut noodle portions was very nice.
If you like heat go extra hot or Thai hot.

Went here for my birthday with my family, and it was amazing. Huge portions, good prices, excellent food. Meals were prepared to the level of spiciness ordered. The heat is not just for heat sake. There are layers of flavor within the heat. Service was a bit slower, but it was still really good. It’s worth the drive from Homer.

Hands down some of the best pad Thai in central New York. I opt for shrimp and they are jumbo. The tamarind sauce is easily high quality and unmatched. Food comes out at the speed of light and the staff is attentive to a T. I highly recommend this place! I’ve never had a bad meal here. If you like spice, they can make it as spicy as you need.

If you like Thai food, you’re fortunate to live in Syracuse as we have three excellent Thai restaurants, Lemongrass and AppeThaizing downtown, and Thai Love NY in Mattydale. On a recent visit to Thai Love, we ordered four appetizers and two entrees to share. The red curry had tender chicken and the Thai grilled salad had an abundance of flavorful sliced steak. I felt the summer roll went best with the sweet Thai chili sauce, although the peanut sauce was also delicious. The noodles and dressing on the yum woon sen salad, and the brown gravy on the drunken noodles were excellent. And, we had food left over to take home. One warning. If this is your first time at this restaurant and you’re asked how hot (spicy) you would like your dish on a scale of 1 to 5, you may not fully enjoy the food if you choose a number above 3. The wait staff here equates level 3 with hot. But, I would define it as very hot, and at level 4, I was unable to finish a dish even though I ate rice to cool the fire after each bite. It wasn’t till after I’d had a couple spoonfuls of green tea ice cream that the pain finally subsided. So, you might want to proceed cautiously up the heat scale. UPDATE-1: I can highly recommend the coconut shrimp appetizer. The shrimp were perfectly cooked, the coating crispy, and the dipping sauce delicious. And, an abundant amount of shrimp were provided at a very reasonable price. I ordered Gra Prow with pork for my main. Although, I requested the spicy heat at level 2, the initial impression of a mild sauce developed into an enjoyable slow burn. The vegetables, including bamboo shoots and bell pepper strips, were excellent and there was plenty of pork mixed in. For dessert, I took the owner’s recommendation to try the banana fritters with green tea and vanilla ice creams, whipped cream, and what I believe was a drizzle of carmel sauce. It was a fantastic way to finish a delicious meal.
