The Langouste is worth the first Serbian star. Not only for the food and the excellent (mostly Serbian) wines, but also for the friendliness of the staff.
Every presentation is warm and competent, every recommendation is good guidance.
The food itself is immaculate and the presentation is superb. The chefs take no prisoners and get out of the trench storming. There is no gradual build-up, even the starter snacks hit the taste buds full frontal and the first wine is… a desert wine.
The eight courses are eleven when properly counted, so come with appetite.
When in Belgrade, make sure to visit.
Marco looked after us all afternoon, and he was fabulous, bringing professionalism and humour into every part of the service. He knew all the dishes, recommended the best ways to eat them, and gave us a history about the dishes and the region. Truly fantastic!
Chef Marco (different Marco) and his team create truly beautiful and sublime dishes, taking flavours from all around the region and mixing them with classic French techniques to create mini-masterpieces. I can’t fault the food, every dish was delicious, with some standouts being the langoustine, river perch and ribeye with foie gras (their signature dish).
It’s a beautiful setting overlooking the river Sava, such a lovely clean, venue, and it was one of my favourite meals of the year! Can’t recommend Langouste enough! Congratulations to the entire team for creating something wonderful.
From the moment we arrived, Langouste delivered an unforgettable fine-dining experience that blended artistry, warmth, and world-class execution. The young, energetic team—led by the brilliant Chef Marko Derić—crafted a menu that was both elegant and adventurous, with each course showcasing precision and creativity.
What truly set this evening apart was the staff’s extraordinary hospitality. When they learned we were celebrating Thanksgiving, they surprised us with an extra course: a beautifully prepared slice of roast duck, offered as a gesture of celebration. It was thoughtful, spontaneous, and deeply appreciated—a moment that turned a great meal into a lasting memory.
The pairing of Grand Fru, a Serbian white wine also recommended at The Fat Duck in the UK, elevated the experience even further. Langouste isn’t just one of Belgrade’s finest—it’s a place where culinary excellence meets heartfelt connection.
Langouste Restoran deserves the Michelin Star they have and more. Highly recommended for anyone seeking a dining experience that’s as soulful as it is sophisticated. Thank you to Chef Marko Derić and his entire staff for a dinner that was nourishment for both our bodies and souls.
We had a langouste tasting menu with wine pairing and everything was just perfect.
The Chef came to us a few times to explain the dish himself and his colleagues did great for the rest of it. It was a 8 course menu that we would definitely recommend you to try.
The service was a marvel: seamless white-glove execution paired with genuinely warm Serbian hospitality. Every single plate was remarkable, from the first amuse-bouche through to dessert. If you go, the truffle pie and the dry-aged fish are non-negotiable must-tries. This is the definition of world-class fine dining, and its Michelin star is unequivocally deserved.
The dinner was a 7-course tasting menu, paired with wine. The professionalism of both the waitstaff and the chefs was absolutely outstanding. Each dish was beautifully explained the moment it was placed in front of us – how it was created, what it consists of, the idea behind it, and how to enjoy it properly.
It’s truly incredible how each flavor stands out – in the harmony of all those delicate notes, you can still taste every single one individually.
A big thank you to the staff for the lovely atmosphere and good service, and especially to the kitchen team for the effort and perfection poured into every single plate!
