Thank you, Chase and Juan provided excellent customer service to me for a gift card that I presented. Chase greeted me right away at the door at dinner time, busy time and worked so genuinely to make sure my order was correct. And Juan was really good and put my order in. My family size chicken and broccoli , was fresh and hot and went straight down the street to my 85 year old Dad with a bad cold. Thank you Davannis for your kindness and generosity

I placed an order from Davanni’s because they were running a buy-one-get-one-free cheese bread deal. What I received was honestly terrible. Both orders of cheese bread arrived cold, crusty, and completely missing the marinara sauce. The marinara is what makes the cheese bread edible — I’m not going to eat eight pieces of dry cheese bread with nothing to dip it in.
I also ordered a turkey bacon chipotle hoagie, but I only received a plain turkey hoagie. On top of that, the entire bottom bun had nothing on it — no chipotle sauce, no mayo, nothing. I’m not sure if that’s how they “normally” make them, but it tasted unfinished and lazy.
This is a huge inconvenience, and the inconsistency between the Richfield and Edina locations is absurd. The attention to detail on this order was honestly terrible, and they should be embarrassed to serve food like this to anyone.
Based on this experience, I would never order from this location again. I’ve always loved Davanni’s, but this is ridiculous.
I will be coming up to the store tomorrow to have my order remade because it clearly wasn’t made correctly the first time.

These guys have been around a long time, great hoagie, and za, priced above the quick chains, but infinitely better d r pizza as well….locations are clean, have historical pics. on the wall from location cities, and the staff are friendly…..usually busy, but hoagie only takes 10 mins. Most locations also have meeting rooms/party rooms that are good sized…..very casual beer and pizza place, but they have wine, and other menu items as well.

We have eaten several times at this Davanni’s and have always had great food and service. My husband and I have started to eat vegan and they are able to accommodate our needs so well. We have tried all of the different crusts with veggie toppings and have never been disappointed. Today for lunch, we did not specifically mention vegan but said we were eating a specific diet. The cook/chef caught that we were not eating dairy by our order and sent a staff person out to our table to double check we did not want butter on the crust. Now that is service!!

I’d like to give a shout out to Davanni’s. I made an online order getting a roast beef sandwich and when I got home and took a bite I realized there was no roast beef! I was perturbed and I immediately thought to blame the store. I called and was told that I accidentally selected no roast beef on my sandwich. I was wrong, and I still received excellent service. And even though I was wrong, I was even compensated for my mistake. Thank you Davanni’s!

Fantastic food. But staff a bit inattentive one of the two times I went in one month’s time. I was waiting for a to go order & the kid (I say that cuz he was very young) missed my order had been sitting under heat lamp for over 10 minutes when I waa actually there. He looked at me so I figured he knew who I was, but sadly he didn’t bother to ask me so I inquired. And there my order was sitting. Ugh

Staff was handling my pizza slice with bare hands and no gloves. I requested a new slice and they were upset I called them out. Then quoted me 15 more minutes for a slice. I asked for a refund and completely wasted 20 minutes of my time and I didn’t even get to eat

Good service and friendly staff but the sandwich wasn’t worth it. The chicken was very dry and overcooked, it almost looked like a day old chicken breast. It wasn’t tender and juicy like it was made the same day.
