The food is just delicious, the lady that owns the store is super nice and warm, welcoming. Authentic European food made from the heart. Also while ordering the delish food you can ship a package over seas to your family and friends for a very affordable price. WIN WIN 🙂

Very small deli on Main st. Nice people, friendly and helpful. They do not abide by social distancing despite the signs requiring masks and limiting 1 person at a time. Prices are ridiculously expensive. I was not impressed with their baked goods. Frozen pierogi’s were meh and poorly packaged. Go to Pulaski in Linden if you want better pierogi and kielbasa. Disappointed, will not return.

Lovely little establishment with everything I need. Wonderful selection of hungarian noodles, meats and cheeses, fresh paprika ( not the spices found in the grocery store), apricot and prune for baking, freshly cooked hungarian foods, and baked items. Warm, friendly service.

Everything you’d expect by the name. I absolutely enjoyed the Hungarian meats and delicacies. The stuffed cabbage is also a great find.

As an NJ ex-pat, I had been schlepping to the Hungarian Meat Center in Passaic for several years when I visited NJ, but when I wanted to have a traditional Hungarian Easter dinner for friends and family in Louisiana, I found they no longer shipped their products, but the European Deli did! The owner was lovely and was very happy to help me, and she shipped me the most delicious kolbasz! My Louisiana guests loved it, and given that local sausages are very good, that’s also a great recommendation! ! For me, this kolbasz tastes EXACTLY like what I remember from my childhood in the 1960s, so I recommend the European deli unequivocally! I suggest trying the hurka too, it’s excellent!

Absolute must stop here whenever I’m passing through. Easily accessible from all major highways. Ildiko keeps this shop neat and tidy and the meats are fresh and taste as you expect. For all those hard-to-find Magyar specialties and ingredients this is where you need to go. Nice selection of prepared meals you can take and heat, as well as handmade kohlbasz and szalami are always tasty. Plenty of free street parking.

Had the home made stuffed cabbage and some cured sausage. Absolutely blown away. The cabbage rolls were incredible. They had so much flavor. There were a few slices of a smokey sausage in the gravy that really set the flavors off! The cured sausage was very flavorful and had a nice blend of meat and a texture that wasn’t too fatty. The lady at the counter was super cute in her red apron!

Nice little spot with nice staff. I got their home made sausage, some Greek cheese, and a pork fat muffin. It was all great! Can’t wait to go back and try some more store made goods.

$15/pound for kielbasa?
I am new to buying kielbasa. Was shocked I paid that. But boy was it worth it! It tasted like i was eating a log of bacon. . Just wish they told me it was not cooked/smoked lol.
I would give them 6*s if I could to counteract some of the other foolish 1* reviews.
