We serve European influenced Italian and American cuisine. We are centrally located 10 minutes from Milford PA and 15 Minutes from lake Wallenpaupack / Hawley Pa.

We found peters europa house on a whim. We were staying at our cabin in the Poconos celebrating our 5th wedding anniversary. Everything about this restaurant was amazing. Food delicious! Service excellent. My husband said this is one of the best restaurants he’s been too in the united states so far! We will definitely be back.

This was our first visit to Peter’s, since we happened upon it when buying in Trails End. I wish I could give this restaurant more than the 5* allowed. The food was beyond delicious, the service was exceptional, the atmosphere so warm and inviting and the portions plentiful. Highly recommend and will most definitely be back!

Food was edible, server was nice but we didn’t get our drinks till about 35 minutes after sitting down. Didn’t get our appetizers till about an hour and a half, and it was just a bunch of bowls of soup.. didn’t get our dinner till close to about 2 and a half hours later. To pay close to $50 to wait for my food which was surf and turf, for that long, for 3 carrots 1 piece of broccoli, one shrimp, and a crab cake that tasted like a microwave fish stick. Steak was good though.. Only giving it 2 stars cause I’m nice. But just completely surprised.

Exceptionally clean, quiet, and comfortable with a very cozy upscale atmosphere. Mark, our server, made our visit very memorable and smooth considering our dietary needs and restrictions. He took the time to listen, ask questions, and come up with multiple solutions for us. The flexibility with the kitchen to modify foods is top tier and much appreciated. Everything came out perfectly. The salmon was done well, the custom chicken entree for my husband was brilliant, and the cheesecake with multiple toppings options was just what we needed to finish off the meal. The only critique would be to add a larger serving of vegetables to the salmon entree if substituting the mashed potatoes.
We were very impressed by the wait staff’s team work to check on us, keep our glasses filled, and keep the table cleared. Even the server at the next table over, Alex, seemed very detail oriented and paid close attention to his tables requests. This restaurant was slightly out of our way on a trip home but well worth the trip out. A+ Pricing is $$. Reservations not required, but recommended.

Where do I start? Fortuitously stumbled upon this wonderful restaurant and got a reservation at the last minute. Very humble exterior, but absolutely lovely decor inside, with a very well stocked hip bar and several rooms to be seated in. We chose to sit in their newly built outside kiosks. Past the waterfalls to their outside gardens.
Cocktails were insanely delicious as was the wine (very special cabernet).
Appetizers to die for… The best pei mussels I have ever eaten… Plump, succulent and sauce that needed another order of bread served hot to sop up the sauce… A helping of pasta would have been even more tasty.
The Mahi Mahi special with pistachios crust was superb, stuffed chicken… So good, and a summer salad topped with wild salmon cooked to perfection was great on a warm August evening.
We ended with chocolate cake and a sidecar of vanilla ice cream… Expresso martini, and Peter’s coffee, not to be missed. BTW… Service was extraordinary… Our server could not do enough for us, and Peter came out to our table himself to make sure that we were all pleased with our dinners and enjoyed our experience at Europa House. What a gem… Great find

Everything was incredible here from the owner to the staff, food, decor and ambiance. I would recommend this eatery from the casual to the gourmand. The menu is more than ample and the staff was happy to accommodate any requests and had a full working knowledge of both the menu and ingredients used. They were amicable yet professional and efficient, our table was never left wanting or waiting.
Our server Mark in particular made the evening smooth and fun. I also had the pleasure of the owner stopping by just to check in on our table and it was clear that this entire team from every angle is focused and impassioned to deliver the best experience possible for their patrons.
I look forward to spending many evenings here leaving with a full and happy stomach. A must try.
P.S. It’s true, Peters’s garlic mushroom soup truly is famous and should not be missed! The change in ownership has kept the spirit intact and I’m excited to see what other special’s Faro creates for us to enjoy.
