Unfortunately, the experience was very disappointing. The staff came across as rude, and while the menu is extensive, it seems like the focus is on quantity rather than quality.
The gnocchi had a good texture, but the dish lacked flavour overall. The carbonara was watery, as if the sauce hadn’t been properly cooked down and was simply made with cream and white wine. The chicken was foul—it didn’t taste fresh or cooked in house. It came across as processed, like pre-prepared shredded chicken that’s you buy from a supplier. The pumpkin in the gnocchi also tasted old.
It was a strange and disappointing experience, especially for a venue that presents itself so well online but fails to deliver on food quality in person.

I tried the prawn linguini, which was beautifully balanced fresh prawns, perfectly cooked pasta, and a sauce that was rich yet light. The arancini were crisp on the outside, creamy on the inside, and full of flavour. The Parma pizza was another highlight, with a generous topping, great base, and classic Italian flavours executed really well.

I want to start off by saying that we are frequent and regular diners at Manny’s and our experience has always been amazing, delightful, exceptional and very welcoming. We have been coming to Manny’s restaurant for the last 3 years, pretty close to 4 I’d say and the first time we encountered Manny’s was for my brother and I’s 28th birthday where him and his partner introduced us. After the first meal there, we were repeat offenders and kept coming back for more as we thoroughly enjoyed the customer service that all of their team provided and still continues to provide and not to mention that the food is always exceptional every single time we go. We have never had a bad meal from Manny’s and when you go so frequently like we do, you almost become apart of their little family and it is so lovely to be recognised and treated like you are apart of their family and for all of the team to want to have a chat with you and catch up. We get some changes to our garlic pizza and the team come and check and make sure that it is correct every single time and that it is our usual. They are always so happy to make little substitutions to their meals and will accommodate to your needs. I get a pork belly without pork belly as I love the bed of Asian slaw that it lays on and they are more than happy to serve this as a main meal for me and add a little more in for the lack of the pork belly that I get as I’m not a big meat eater and this honestly makes a massive difference in my experience and interactions with the team. My partner and I love coming to Manny’s and it is such a beautiful family owned restaurant. The owners are such genuine, down to earth and loving people and if you’re looking for an a restaurant in the area to eat then I highly recommend this restaurant. My partner and I don’t know this family personally and this is a personal review because they deserve to be recognised for their warmth, kindness and hospitality.

Dinner at Manny’s, what a treat. Delicious food and attentive service. We appreciated being asked if we preferred our pinot noir chilled or at room temperature. It was hard to choose as many menu items sounded delicious. Nice to see local prawns o the menu. It was lovely sitting outside watching the sunset.

Manny’s Italian is worth the visit. The lasagne and entrees were good- the server assured us it was local produce. The veal scallopini was average but I would go back to try other dishes. Try to get a table outside inside is way too noisey. We met the owner and they own the curry house next door too so we will Have to try it. The drinks are cheap and the food is average price. We were seated inside initially but the staff were happy to help moving us outside when a table became available. The only unfortunate dish was the dessert it just didn’t make sense and the flavours didn’t match. Still worth going!

Creamy carbonara, four cheese gnocchi and funghi wood-fired pizza were AMAZING! (Approved by my Italian girl friends)
