Went in for a quick lunch. Was greated with smile and was seated. You could smell the food cooking. A nice young lady brought me chips and salsa. Took my order. I had ordered a beef taco salaf. Salsa was soooo good. Few minutes later, was really fast. The taco salad hit the spot. It was so good. Everything was fresh and authentic. I will be eating here again. Highly recomend.

I purchased a chimichanga and queso however the meat in the chimichanga was so dry and hard I could not chew it. I have eaten queso from many many places but never have I ever had queso that is so spicy you can’t eat it!! Very very disappointed in the food

The food looked unappealing and the taste confirmed what our eyes told us. 4 of us ordered different foods and I couldn’t recommend any of them. The waitress was unfamiliar with the menu and unfortunately the chef must have been as well. Now I know why the restaurant was so dark.

We have been coming weekly since they opened back up under new ownership. The waitstaff goes above and beyond when we come in. They make a point to speak, even if they aren’t our server. The food is always good and quick to arrive. One of our favorite local places!

SanMiguel Restaurant in Rayville, La is my favorite Mexican food in Rayville. I have been eating at this restaurant ever since the original owners opened it and Eric( he and his wife own it now)was a waiter. Eric and Angel are a young couple working hard to do good for their children. I am so proud of them. Eric if ever I am dissatisfied with something you and Angel will be the first to know. I don’t believe in blasting businesses on social media. Keep doing what you are doing. Your food is delicious. I know you are going to a computer system. Be patient with yourself. It is a learning curve for y’all. You are growing. Again, I am so proud of the two of you and love your food…..especially the queso and chips!
