A fantastic place. They were full, but seated us outside the dining area under an awning. So kind, and we were grateful. We started with Pastis and beignets de fromage (house made cheese). The chef then brought us an “amuse bouche” of his house-made charcuterie. The best salami I’d ever had in my life, along with ham and I believe slices of Saucisson. Superb. Then came a 1/2 liter of luscious Corsican vin rouge. Entrees were agneau braised in cream and a rôti de porc. Phenomenal. We finished with two delicious desserts, shots of liqueur de myrte (house made) and un cafe. If you are in Corte, go here. They also have a shop where you may buy the house-made provisions.

An absolute must for those exploring the Corsica’s culinary varieties! Own-farm raised goat and sheep, meat cooked to perfection using spices local to central Corsica. The restaurant is family-run with a genuine “local” atmosphere. Thank you and I hope to be back!

All we got was VERY GOOD! We used Google Translate to help us with the menu but we still didn’t exactly know what we’ll get. Everything was delicious. I highly recommend having a dinner there. Dinner is served starting from 7 PM. Reservations are recommended.

To be clear, I have not eaten here. The point is, I tried to. I made a booking in person and agreed a time “around 7.30pm”. We arrived at 7.38pm – our table had been given away (and not two minutes earlier, these people had bread in front of them). The owner just said we were not there “on time” and he had no other tables. The man is entitled to run his restaurant as he wishes. This review is just to say, if you book, be precise on the time and turn up a few minutes early!! Hope this was helpful.

Really good Food. An super nice guys Running the Restaurant. But you schuld make a Reservation an still come at beste half an hour before your Reservation time to get your tabel or you have to wait with others toll you get your Reserved Table.
