Well bar tenders don’t know what a michelob ultra is. Waitress forgot what drinks we ordered anyways. Came to the table before food was delivered and asked if I wanted ketchup and mustard with the food then proceeded not to bring it. Then comes back to the table 2 times to say “oh the ketchup and mustard” then never brings it until the 3rd time. Not to add while waiting for the food you can see a waitress in the back cutting veggies while her hair is down and constantly leaving down and the hair is basically touching the veggies. Usually I’m happy with the service and food here but my golly has it gone way down hill.

I’ve had just about everything on their menu and I haven’t had one bad thing. Sometimes understaffed but the waitresses are still amazing. Onion rings, Wings, chicken sandwich, patty melt, Philly sandwhich, ALL a 10/10. Start your journey down the menu!

Came in here for lunch. I was really wanting some fish. My pops used to bring me here as a kid on Sundays, (when they used to have family night) years ago. The fish was always something I enjoyed greatly. Today, was a time machine, as the fish hasn’t changed a bit. Very delicious, and it paired delightfully well with an afternoon beer! Yum.

4 of us went in not really busy. Went to the pool tables after one game of pool. Waitress showed up and took our order and drink order ordered specials. We proceeded to play 3 more games of pool no drinks no food can’t really rate the food or drinks never got any. Left hungry and thirsty.

Very large place with multiple areas and lots of seating. Three pool tables in acceptable condition. Darts and other games. The bar is small and u shaped near the dining tables. I’ve heard the food is good for the area but yet to try. Staff was very friendly. A couple patrons were rude and a little confrontational about “this is my regular seat”. Otherwise okay. Mix of a large sports bar, neighborhood hangout, and a dive.

My review is based on the restaurant aspect of Mr. G’s. Excellent fried chicken. Cooked fresh so expect it to take a good 30 minutes like fresh chicken takes. Comes with a very good salad and choice of side. I get the baked potato. Also comes with bread. Other food good too, but I get the fried chicken 90% of the time. Never an issue with service.

My favorite thing to eat here is the broccoli poppers. Don’t drink the water. It’s well water…but not good well water, it’s very mineraly.
Instant mashed potatoes was a big negative for me.
Their chicken strips and cheeseburgers are pretty good.
The last time I got the fish dinner, the fish was badly overcooked.
All in all, my husband and I eat/drink here a couple times a month.
The beer is always cold and the service is usually always great.
