Staff was friendly and the food came out quick. The naan bread was tasty, as well as the rice. The butter chicken was sort of bland and very sugary, I was expecting more taste and more cury and spices. This was my first time ordering food from here.I ordered chicken tikka. It was so disappointing in terms of portion size and taste. The pieces of chicken tikka are super small and taste is not even close to what we get in Indian restaurants. It is like cheating the customer!
The onion pakora was fine. The tamarind chutney was different in taste than the regular chutneys we have at authentic Indian restaurants.
The vegetable curry was not good. It had big, chunky pieces of cabbage, carrots and no taste of coconut although the description mentioned it has coconut.
The prices are exorbitant especially when you look at the taste.
Montreal has excellent restaurants with good portion sizes and prices. To someone who has never been to Indian restaurants, this taste and portion size would seem normal but to someone who has grown up cooking and eating Indian food, has been to countless Indian restaurants in Ontario and Montréal, the difference is so obvious.

The worst ever restaurant I visited while at Montreal. They served biriyani but it hardly tasted like a biriyani. Also, had a chicken Tikka, there were hardly enough pieces for one person. The beef and chicken pieces were like rubber pieces, hard to chew. The service was also bad.

So good! The food was delicious, with just the right amount of spice—not overpowering but full of flavour. The portions were HUGE, I left full! The staff were incredibly friendly which made the experience even better. I really enjoyed our meal and would 100% go back again. Highly recommend if you’re craving amazing Indian cuisine in St Jean!
