I visited here twice, and first time it was good. The food came out fast and everything was good, the garlic butter salmon was little greecy but its cuz both are so fatty. And, one of the workers, I believe a manager? Offered me to try premium next time because their customers normally come visit to get their premium AYCE.
So I came back for my second time. I was excited to try their premium sushi orders. Carpaccio orders were very good and it was delicious. All the premium sushi dishes were good except the beef one, it was too gummy and chewy. And here comes the Oyster, the problem of this whole experience. I had the Oyster and I felt something was weird but I know Oyster was fishy and oceany.. so I was like w/e. But two days after.. I couldn’t leave my house cuz of the Diarrhea… and I threw up all my liquid in my body.. yes I got the norovirus(didnt go see the doc because some said you can be recovered without a medication).. googled it and everything matched up, light fever, bodyache and headache, nausea, and diarrhea.. when I got better and got to talk normally on the phone, I talked with the manager and they said I need to prove them if I have Norovirus or not. And they told me to go to talk with doctor and bring the paper to their insurance company… all I needed was genuine apologize and maybe refund or something.. maybe I should have been taking pictures of my pukes and diarrhea to show them? Like the first thing I heard was, “we cant do anything for you, you need to go see the doc to prove you have that virus and you can talk with our insurance company, not with us. We havent gotten any other people complained about oyster.” That was pretty disappointing… and i finally convinced him to offer me a dish and apologize. But I dont think I will come back anyway. Happy New Year to yall.

Went in for the All You Can Eat.. sushi was really good and upon arriving everyone was very welcoming and kind. Some guests from a while back came in shortly after us and the server recognized them and conversed a bit. Very genuine and friendly staff. I really enjoyed the “Yellowtail Lover”, had a small kick and the “Mango Lemon Salmon” Roll.

Sad to say I have lived within walking distance for 20+ years, they changed the mango tango from a sweet sauce and dish to a bitter and then when I asked argued with me. All the crab that was common was bitter not sweet like it was bad. I am so sad to see this place fall so much. Are lady server was very nice, the guy who argued with me I was very unhappy with.

Our first sushi in Cali.. we must say it’s “Pretty” darn good!! We tried one each of the all day special rolls and the chicken teriyaki as an appetizer for lunch! It was all fresh and flavorful… we don’t have big enough appetites for much AYCE anymore, don’t enjoy over stuffing ourselves!! It was the perfect amount for the two of us… probably could’ve done without the appetizer as filling as the sushi was. Our server was the sweetest and offered us free green tea ice cream to try!! She must’ve secretly known it was the last day of my birthday month… We may go back again tonight for dinner and explore some of the special rolls!! Thanks for the welcoming and cozy atmosphere, we loved the music!!

The service and food was super good. One of the best Ayce sushi spots I’ve had. I would call myself a sushi connoisseur lol and I give it a 10/10. Fish quality was there and they even gave complimentary ice cream at the end. I recommend getting the premium menu if you truly enjoy sushi, it is worth the extra 10 dollars. The oyster is a must try!!

The sushi is decent, but the staff need to learn what’s on their menu more thoroughly. We got the full version of an appetizer that we had ordered and had to send it back, they were out of the sake that one of us ordered. Service wasn’t bad, they just need time to get their bearings. We’ll try them again in the future.
We didn’t go with all-you-can-eat, but for those who are interested, AYCE is $40/person, includes everything on the menu, but the portions are smaller.

All you can eat (AYCE) sushi restaurants are not known to have the greatest sushi, but this isn’t the case at Kiku Sushi.
We didn’t order the AYCE, but the individual dishes we did order were great. Although a bit small, the donburi bowl with unagi and rice was flavorful and the Super California roll was delicious too. The salmon salad was also good, but I found it to be a bit on the oily side.
After we ate, we were surprised when we were asked which type of ice cream we wanted. It seems dessert is included with the meal — and that scoop of matcha ice cream really hit the spot.
The prices are fair, the staff is friendly and the place was clean.

Kiku Sushi is a fantastic spot for sushi lovers. The place looks cool, and they serve sushi that’s both traditional and creative. Each dish not only looks great but also tastes amazing. They’ve got fresh sashimi and a variety of rolls to choose from. The chefs really know what they’re doing, making the food delicious and interesting. The menu has something for everyone, whether you like classic sushi or want to try something new. The people working there are friendly, and the overall vibe is welcoming. Kiku Sushi is a top choice if you’re into good sushi and a nice atmosphere.
