The crust was good but the rest was very doughy. We also ordered wings..they were ok.
Overall $40 for 1 large pizza and 6 pc wings was in our opinion too pricey for what you get.

Terrible Pizza: I don’t know how you can take the recipe from a good restaurant (Rusty’s) and still mess it up.
The crust is undercooked and is overall lacking in flavor. We gave it one last shot tonight and realized that we don’t want to waste our money. The quality just isn’t there. I would recommend fluid state or toppers if you’re in Ventura. Dan’s is just not good.

I had driven last this place a couple of times before but I stopped by to have a medium pizza with my brothers and the pizza was quite delicious. We had beef sausage and pineapple on our pizza. (I know, I know, pineapple on pizza? I didn’t choose the toppings BUT it was actually pretty good!)
The place was a bit small but had a comfortable atmosphere and tables large enough to host a small group. One cool thing I saw here that I hadn’t seen at other pizza shops was a robot that delivers your pizza to your table. I thought that was a nice touch. Also the marketing and branding for this place is on point!

The food is great. Unfair to put 4 instead of 5 stars as the pizza itself is top notch. but they need to service their games, a couple ate the change. And having a code for the bathroom door was a bit of a pain.

Have been ordering from here for a while. Used to be good service and food. Not now unfortunately. My delivery order was misdelivered. Completely wrong street! The delivery driver was extremely rude and unprofessional when I told them it was the wrong address they delivered to. Tried to tell me I gave the wrong address, which was not true. When I asked for an apology for the error she just said sorry that GPS made a mistake. I called the store to speak with management. Was told no manager was there. I asked for a callback and was told they would. No one ever called. Screenshot is attached. Never will order again. Never will recommend again.

Food was great I have been coming to this Pizza Man Dans since I was a child. I came back to town to see my family and wanted a pleasant dinner before going home ,but unfortunately we had a horrible experience due to a rude female employee refusing me hand sanitizer when the women’s restrooms were closed , despite the fact that her male coworker was going to allow me to use the one hand sanitizer sitting in front of him when I asked him, the women employee rushed over to rudely yell at me No! . The women was very unprofessional and needs to work on her customer service. What a shame for a once great pizza place to now have such a bad environment due to one worker that has a sour attitude for doing her job. Please do better. Hire better.

This is and old school pizza place stocked with a couple arcade, games red booths, red carpet, and a dark inside. It also has a fireplace.
I ordered a turkey sub instead of the pizza and it was OK. The bread was very dry and the sandwich itself was very dry. There wasn’t a lot of flavor with this sandwich.

I really enjoyed going to this place on my way back to LA from Santa Barbara. The people were super friendly, the atmosphere was very chill. There were some families eating but no drama, and the food was amazing. I ordered one of the calzones, and it was huge, it was crash it was tasty it was everything you could ask for and a bit more. They even baked in a few of the crushed red peppers for me upon request!

I have to say of all pizza places that serve by the slice that I’ve ever been to this was the greatest. Pricing is pretty good for a massive slice of pizza and it was absolutely beyond delicious I can’t stop raving about it to everyone I know. I also can’t stop thinking about next time I’m going to have the chance to stop in again. The employee was really nice and helpful. And the atmosphere is very old school pizza place retro vibe with a few arcade games. I would recommend this place to anybody and everybody. Pizza man Dan you have outdone yourself and have gained a customer for life. Don’t change anything, what you have going know is PERFECT!
