And the main reason why I gave it five stars is because for what it is, it’s a casual Taco stand that you can actually sit down inside.
It’s good at what it does. The food is really good, the prices are right, and the people behind the counter all have a smile. You can tell the men and women who work here love their jobs, and pour their heart into the food that they prepare for you.
I Love this place! For good food that is served quick, eat here or take it to go, this is some of the best authentic Mexican food you’ll have around.
Value! Whether you’re a family, or on a casual date, or just coming in on a work break, or don’t feel like cooking at home, this might be the spot for you. I feel like for the amount of money you’re spending, their prices are perfect for May 2024. You’re getting your money’s worth, and it’s good food.
Their three taquito and drink special is $6. I mean where else can you get a deal like that, especially considering the fact that everything is truly homemade.
I like the 3 beef enchiladas, and I also like the three taco special as well. So why not have everything? Today I got it all. Lol.
Everything I just mentioned, the 3 enchiladas, the three tacos, and the three taquitos, and the drink all came out to $33. It’s enough to feed at least three people, maybe four if you have small children.
Parking can be tricky, but just go into the Pep Boys parking lot on the other side of the fire station, and you should be able to find tons of free parking if there’s none available in the lot out front.
Don’t expect anything fancy here. This isn’t a Cantina or anything. But on the day that we came, Cinco de mayo, there was actually a three-piece band playing with a beautiful harp, a guitar player, and a bass player. All acoustic, like you’d find on the streets of mexico. This was an unexpected surprise, started a year ago. Sundays from 3pm – 6pm or so.
It’s a taco stand, but you can sit down. No hype. Just really good food.
I could go on and on about this place, and give you some over detailed account of what happened here. Just trust me, put your phone down, walk in the door, order some food, and eat. Lol. It’s that good.
“Free” Chips and salsa are on the sidebar as well if you want to add to your order.
Yes I will be back.
Pastor was just ok, burrito had no guacamole. Perhaps it was just an off day for this place.
