North Beach Social is a beach restaurant and bar located at the foot of the 331 bridge in Santa Rosa Beach on the Choctawhatchee Bay. Guests order from the counter and bar and enjoy beach games, toys and seating in a very laid back atmosphere. On the menu are some of Chef Jim Shirley’s most famous dishes, like Grits á Ya Ya from Great Southern Cafe as well as Signature Smash Burgers, salads, sandwiches and more.

It’s a balmy 60° in January, and the welcome is warm and inviting. Wyatt recommended the blackened fish tacos, which were excellent, and they just switched to an agave-only margarita base that is perfectly balanced. Heated bar inside or wrap up for the beach-side view of the bay, but don’t let Old Man Winter dissuade you from visiting now!

Less than fast food quality at full service prices. You order at a counter and they bring the food to your table with fast food condiment packets. When you pay $18 dollars for a burger they could at least not charge an extra dollar for cheese. Plus the minimum tip is 18%, for what? I had to get my own silverware at the bar, get ketchup packets and go to the bar for drinks! Their drinks have absolutely no alcohol. The whole place is a rip off.
They advertise as a “local bar”, and they’re charging tourist prices.

The mahi mahi was delicious but I wish it would have been bigger. The atmosphere and the service are second to none. Eating right by the water and capping it off with a piece of key lime pie was tough to beat.
Parking was a little tougher, but I found a spot.

You have to eat here. That is if you can find parking they do have an extra lot so don’t give up quick. Indoor has air conditioning with an amazing view of the bay.
Food ordering as a walk up counter order, they give you a number and then bring your food to your table. Food prep was quick and delicious. They have outdoor seating under umbrellas, as well as a bar with live music outside. There are boats that pull up and anchor in And swim into the restaurant. There’s also a beach if the kids wanna play in the sand.
They have interesting art on the walls that’s all made out of cut wood, that was really charming. Upstairs is a higher scale restaurant and we would love to try that next time we visit.

Fun, casual, beach-vibe spot on the bay. Great place for family and friends to enjoy sitting waterfront outdoors at picnic tables with umbrellas or choose the covered bar area or indoor dining on rainy days. The fresh grouper sandwich with fries was a popular choice on our two visits. Children can enjoy corn hole and fun in the sand while they wait. Can imagine this place gets hopping in summer after 5pm with live music and happy hour. Counter service is very friendly as are the bartenders. Locals love this spot. Plenty of parking. Hope to try their upstairs Fire and Farm restaurant for dinner next time we are in the area. This is a must visit to enjoy a bite with toes in sand on the beautiful bay.
