The service was very professional and friendly, and I appreciated the wide variety of sauces available to sample and purchase. The dining area was exceptionally clean and well-maintained. The ribs were a bit dry and crispy for my personal taste but still enjoyable. The burnt ends had a flavorful outer crust, and the mac and cheese, coleslaw, and cornbread were all very good. The fries were fresh and well-prepared, though I didn’t care for the pulled pork topping—something about the pulled pork sauce didn’t quite suit my taste. Overall, it was a positive experience, and I look forward to trying more items from the menu on my next visit.

The meat sampler platter and side sampler platter were tried. The pulled pork was definitely 4 stars. The wings were good, but lacked smoke- 3 stars. The ribs had a very nice bark and were flavorful- 4 stars. The brisket was a major disappointment… chewey and lacked smoke… 1 star.
The beans were incredible- nice flavor and perfect hotness 4.5 stars. The coleslaw was creamy but had a touch of a sour flavor 4 stars. The Mac and Cheese lacked flavor and was runny very disappointing 1 star.
Overall experience was 3 stars. Russell’s BBQ does pork and ribs and wings well… but if you are comparing this to top notch BBQ places, it does fall a bit short. Great place to eat in rural Western Pennsylvania though.

Enjoyed the sweetheart sampler (1/4 lb each of chicken, pork, brisket, burnt ends and ribs) with garlic Parmesan fries – delicious ! Service is great – and love that you can buy a half gallon of tea ! If you enjoy the sauces in the sideboard, make sure you check out the sauces and rubs for sale before you leave ! Sign up free for their rewards program – you will want to be back!

Very nice and friendly people . Food was absolutely wonderful. The only problem i had was what to order due to so many great options . Brisket was wonderful, baked beans and cornbread as well as the coleslaw was amazing. Highly recommended and I love food the sauces were great and so many so I didn’t get to try all of them I could have but that will be for next time . Service was fast kid friendly , family oriented my type of place .

I’ve always had southern bbq and I’ve been looking for the spot. I definitely found it!! Pulled pork and seasoned fries were great! But… out of the eleven sauces Berry Garcia BBQ was my absolute favorite!! Who thought to put blueberries in bbq?!?! I will be buying a gallon of it. Highly recommend Russell’s BBQ!!!

Just discovered Russell’s bbq this week. Will be going back. Great variety of sauces to use and purchase. A sauce for all tastes. The brisket was tender and the pulled pork was delicious. Makes sure to ask about their homemade and created Rambo sauce.

I eat at Russell’s BBQ at least 2 to 3 times a month as we love their food, atmosphere, and service! It’s very affordable as they have family or single meals. They have individual items, their own bbq sauces, wing seasonings, and seasoning rubs.
Their wait staff waits on you immediately and gets your food to you rather quickly! It is always a positive, great experience and every time we get company at our Conneaut Lake Pa vacation home, we make sure to take our family and friends to Russell’s!
