I’m 100% Mexican…my mother was an excellent cook! This is the only Mexican restaurant that I buy food from when I didn’t want to cook. They serve/sell authentic Mexican food. Home made flour and corn tortillas. Every single item they serve is super delicious! They even serve hamburgers and they are out of this world!!!

I had heard a lot about this restaurant and decided to take the 40min drive, Being from Durango I was very excited to try it out. We received a warm welcome and enjoyed prompt service at this restaurant. Our family of four spent around $80, surprised by the sizable portions compared to our local norms. The service, atmosphere, and overall vibe were fantastic, but the food’s flavor fell short for us, earning 6 out of 10. We had a lot of leftovers and will not be returning.

Wow!! This place is good!!
It came recommended by a friend and it did not disappoint.
I ordered “machaca” (shredded beef jerky with egg.)
It was delicious and it came with super fresh beans, tasty Mexican rice and HOMEMADE tortillas!!!
We also ordered a torta de milanesa (breaded steak sandwich), and a taco platter. All of it was good.
As always… I ordered horchata and it was fresh and homemade.
Service was above and beyond. Our waitress was super nice.
The restaurant itself was clean and orderly.
Prices were very decent.
They have a parking lot, but its shared so its kind of tight. However I did go on a Sunday so I would expect a full lot.
Only thing is that the bathroom could’ve been a little cleaner and paper towels to open the door would’ve been a good thing.

8/10 overall! Loved the burgers 10/10 but they wouldn’t cut it for me waitress said shell give me a knife and we got left over chips because it was all crumbs per picture…serves were good, prices were good

Cozy place. Great Horchata burger fries were good as well. I order a Durango-style burger with everything it was mid. I also ordered a gordita De guiso rojo it was alright. Big serving size I was amazed on how big the burger was and gordita.

Some of the best burritos I’ve had in the Chicagoland area. They make their own flour tortillas. I had the green chili pork and the shreeded beef, both phenomenal and similar to places I’m used to previously living in Texas. They’re also only $5-6 per burrito and they don’t fill it up with beans/rice. It’s all meat. The green/red salsas are also fire.

Great place to go and enjoy the flavor of authentic mexican food. As close as it gets to the food from Durango, Mexico. It’s small so if you have a big group, be patient or buy the food to go. Salsas are awesome, specially the red one. Now you can pay cash or card and they remodeled the place as well!!! Awesome food and way more comfortable place to eat!!! Highly recommend it!!

I had no idea a Mexican burger could be so big, (I’m talking plate size). Dressed with all the goodies. Taste was okay. Priced; for the size? Absolutley fair. It was some pretty Mexican women in there. Nice sizable dining area if you want to stay.
