We came here on Oct 8 for my boyfriend’s birthday and it was incredible! We ordered a bunch of plates so we can do more family style and it was amazing. Our server, Margo, was extremely sweet and attentive. She gave us the break down of the menu since it was our first time here and made the BEST recommendations. Everyone from the host, bussers, food runners, to even the manager (Justin) were incredible. Thank you for such an amazing experience. We are already planning to come back! Also, I’m still dreaming of the tiramisu!

We’re new to the North Shore. Stopped in a few nights ago while exploring neighborhoods, and Disotto knocked our socks off. The food was incredibly tasty, and our server, Margo, was *AMAZING!* She was so kind and welcoming! Margo guided us thru the menu and made sure our wine glasses stayed full. We had a great time! 11/10 would highly recommend to anyone considering a North Shore date night

We had a wonderful evening at Disotto celebrating a family bierhday! Our server Margo was OUTSTANDING, and could not have been more authentically helpful and accommodating. Since it was our first time visiting Disotto, Margo described her favorite menu items in detail to help in making our selections. She was attentive throughout each course and at the end, served a complimentary birthday dessert for our group of 6 to enjoy. A talented employee even sang a beautiful rendition of “Happy Birthday” to our birthday boy! It was a fun evening with great food and excellent service. We and plan to return again one day, requesting Margo as our server!

I have eaten here a number of times and have nothing but rave reviews. The waiter Eric is superb. One evening I requested linguine con vogole. His response was “it’s not on the menu but I’ll have the kitchen make it for you”! It was delicious. It is hard to find a more charming and convivial host than Sergio. My son loves the chicken Milanese. The starters are delicious as are the main courses. I really like DiSotto’s and highly recommend the restaurant.

If you enjoy under seasoned Italian fare for a steep (and frankly indefensible) price, boy do I have the spot for you! If instagram-able settings are all you care about, this place is perfect. After a strange and awkward encounter where the server had no idea where to seat us while walking us around the patio, he eventually settled on a table and sat us. We placed our wine order and he left to get it. About 5 minutes later, our wine arrived and the original server tells us that ANOTHER server will be taking care of us. Okay, no big deal. We then proceeded to sit there over 20 full minutes before finally being visited by our new server. We placed an order to try all of the 3 bruschetta options. They were the only highlight of our dinner. Although at $14 for 3 small pieces of bruschetta that I could make at home better, it is hardly a “hit.” For our entrees we tried the burger ($25 for a bacon cheeseburger that costs less than $5 to make) and the pappardelle bolognese ($24 for noodles with a flavorless tomato sauce.) Apparently chef Scott Harris has never heard of garlic, onion, or salt. I would think after multiple iterations of the same tired “elevated” Italian food Chef Scott would have it down. Unfortunately it seems this is just the latest in a long line of over priced disappointments from a chef clearly lacking in culinary flare, but surely covering it up with a nicely decorated place.

We had an incredible experience, and a huge part of that was thanks to our waitress, Margo. From the moment we were seated, she was welcoming, attentive, and genuinely kind. She struck the perfect balance between being friendly and professional, and she made us feel like valued guests rather than just another table.
Margo was extremely knowledgeable about the menu, offered great recommendations, and made sure everything came out exactly as we hoped. Our drinks were never empty, our food arrived promptly, and she checked in just the right amount without ever being intrusive.
It’s rare to come across service that truly elevates a meal, but Margo did exactly that. She brought great energy, a positive attitude, and clear pride in her work. We’ll absolutely be back—and we’ll be asking for Margo every time. This restaurant is lucky to have her!

Amazing service! The food tasted amazing and the gluten free options were well done. The staff was very kind. Drinks were out of this world! They made cute touches to the service and restaurant that didn’t feel cheap or bring down the aesthetic of the restaurant. Will definitely be back for gluten free pizza and maybe the outdoor seating!
