We had dinner here twice. Once our Waiter was Wanny. He was awesome and very attentive. He remembered the my Mother likes Ice Cream.
Second time we had the
Jon, Enrique and Edwin as our Waiters. We had the Tomahawk Steak and a nice Bottle of Chianti.
Both times the Food and Service where awesome.
For sure one of the better Resraurants at this Resort.

Hunter Steakhouse was easily one of the best dining experiences of our trip! From start to finish, everything was exceptional.
The service truly elevated the experience—our server was incredibly attentive, friendly, and made sure we had everything we needed without ever feeling rushed. The level of care and professionalism added such a warm, welcoming touch to the evening.
The brisket was absolutely outstanding—so tender it literally melted in our mouths. You could taste the slow cooking and care in every bite. It was rich, flavorful, and perfectly prepared. The grilled mix was just as impressive, with every cut cooked beautifully and seasoned to perfection.
The chicken especially stood out. The spice blend was unique and delicious, and you could truly taste the quality of the meat—it genuinely felt like locally grown chicken, fresh and full of flavor.
Honestly, the only “downside” was that the portions were so generous we couldn’t finish everything… and I hate wasting food! That just shows how abundant and satisfying the meals were.

Great food steak was perfect delicious. Been here twice first time was amazing can’t say anything bad waiter was beyond everything making sure everything is good and checking on us. Unlike second time feels bit ignored by waiters didn’t get proper knife to steak must ask to finally get one on end my food cos he wasn’t bothered to bring ♀️ also after drink my water and bear I was staying without anything to drink waiter pass us few times and never stop finally catch different waiter to he bring us drink. Finally spend there on second time 1,5h only eating steak cos we could forget about dessert after all can’t wait any longer to be served ♀️

So far, the beat experience staying at Royalton. The service was great, and the steaks were excellent. The stake size was huge, and the drink supply was superb. We ordered Lobster for an extra $59, and it was well worth it. Massive lobster (biggest i have ever had) and well prepared with Risotto. Overall, it was a very good experience and highly recommended.
Tip: If you are not a Diamond Club member, be there at 5.50pm. Go get a spot as its first come, first serve, and no reservations accepted!

Hunter Steakhouse is always one of the must try restaurants in Royalton resorts. Similar to the other steakhouses, this restaurant is really popular. So you have to put your name in the wait list and get a buzzer.
We had two dinners here last week. Both were really tasty. My favourite was T-bone steak. We even tried their pasta and Portuguese hen.

Really enjoyed the hunters steakhouse whilst staying at Royalton, steak was cooked to perfection and all the sides were very good and decent portion sizes. We arrived at 6pm and was seated straight away anytime, after 7 it was a 2 hour wait

This is a great steak house, extremely popular on the resort so, if you are not diamond club, either get there early (6:00), or buy one of the expensive bottles of wine to guarantee a booking.
The steaks were cooked as requested, the sides are generous portions, the waiters are friendly and attentive.
Only minor quibble, if you are seated indoors, you will get hot and sweaty. Unfortunately, swimwear is discouraged!

Best food I’ve ever had at any all inclusive resort in the Caribbean. Hunter’s Steakhouse I would eat there every single day if I could for breakfast lunch and dinner. The royalton has the best food by far. I stayed at a Riu last year it was the worst experience for me ever. Don’t ever stay riu when the royalton is available. Hunter’s steakhouse’s Is absolutely amazing In the buffet was pretty good too. All the other resorts can’t touch this place’s food.

We are on an all inclusive holiday at royaltin putat cana. The restaurant ion site we are expected to book via an app thatcalways crashes and says they are full. We were fed up of eating the buffet so we decided new years eve to treat ourselves to a 3 course lobster and steak at the steak house. We paid $180 extra (on an all inclusive hotel) !!!!
Well….don’t make the same mistake we did. – it was awful
Starter – lobster nd prawn cocktail – we received just the shell of the lobster (no lobster was inside and 2 prawns in which my husband got food poisoning – he spent all new years day in the room
Mains – filter steak with risotto – the steak was overcooked and the risotto was like prison porridge
Desert – only had 1 option nstead of 2 and had only been open 30 min
I would definitely not recommend this steak house especially when it’s supposed to be part of your all inclusive and had to pay $180
