Cedar River BBQ has been a part of the Renton community since 2000, serving up some of the best barbecues in town. We are located in the heart of downtown Renton and pride ourselves on being a terrific lunch and dinner spot for individuals working there. Our menu offers traditional and non-traditional Texas Style Barbecue, using the best meats and ingredients to create a mouth-watering dining experience. Everything is slow-smoked to perfection, from brisket to ribs and pulled pork.

This place was amazingly delicious!! The portions were more than enough. Everything is cooked and seasoned so well. Our family had a variety of wings, Mac and cheese, loaded Mac with brisket (my goodness ), street tacos, and a pulled pork sandwich with a hot link on it. Not one complaint about any of it. The peach cobbler deserves its own separate review !! A real BOWL full of wam cobbler with ice cream in top… again In addition to amazing food, staff was just as amazing. Truly kind and welcoming people. We thoroughly enjoyed our time there tonight!

I ordered on Doordash – left a review there and leaving one here. Amazing!!!! EVERYTHING was delicious. I had the two meat Choice of 2 Meat Platter with ribs and brisket along with a side of Baked Beans and street corn. oooommgg!!!! The portion sizes were wonderful, meat quality was great and it was packaged nicely. The meats were smokey and oh so tender!!!!!! I am a fan and will be ordring more!!!!!! Great job! Stay consistent!

How you gonna to compete with genuinely good bbq?! Best in Renton as far as I’m concerned. I live waaaaay up north but will definitely travel al the way down here for them bbqs right here. Brisket is how it’s supposed to be smoked. Ribs are stellar. Chicken tastes like it was smoked for real. Juicy portions. Don’t take my word for it. Try it yourself. Elote was the one that drew us to this place. Super yum and I’ll be surprised if they don’t think about opening up another one up north (Everett). Y’all might take over the bbq game up there.

I stopped in today and the food was flat out outstanding. Every bite was tender, smoky, and full of flavor. Easily one of the best barbecue spots I have ever been to.
Raj took care of us and he was incredible. He was warm, patient, and walked us through the menu so we knew exactly what to order. You can tell he genuinely cares that you enjoy your experience, not just your plate.
I am absolutely sending family and friends here. The greater Seattle area finally has a phenomenal barbecue spot and people need to know about it. If you love good food and good people, make Cedar River BBQ your next stop

We found this gem of a restaurant and oh my goodness did we luck out!!! The food is fantastic, the service was quick and the owner/manager (not sure which) was so so nice!
We were there to celebrate our daughter’s birthday, so our group of 8 had a large order!
Everything came out hot and tasted amazing!
The gentleman even brought us some yummy corn bread and extra macaroni and cheese since it was closing time. So kind! We devoured both!
We had the ribs, shredded pork, shredded brisket, chicken and the special corn on the cob. (I can’t recall the name, but it had seasonings on it.)
