The ambience is cute. A lot of breakfast spots have a similar aesthetic these days, but it was still inviting and clean.

The food was beautiful. My mom ordered the bacon and avocado Benedict. It looked great and she enjoyed it.

I ordered the Tangerine Combo with the pear French toast. It sounded amazing on the menu and was very pretty when it arrived, but unfortunately it wasn’t my favorite. The bacon and home fries were overcooked, and both the home fries and eggs were bland.

The French toast itself was okay and served warm-ish, but what really threw it off was the pear sauce. It was cold, very cold. I understand food safety considerations, but the cold sauce brought the entire dish down in temperature. It made the toast cold, and the cinnamon butter on the side couldn’t melt even if I tried to add it. Though I’m not sure how you would add it with the pear sauce covering the toast. I had expected something more like warm, caramelized pears rather than a chilled pear version of apple sauce.

To be fair, the menu description wasn’t very detailed, and I didn’t ask clarifying questions. I made an assumption about how it would be served, so I take ownership of that. I ended up just eating it, as I’m not someone who typically sends food back or makes a fuss having worked in the industry myself.

The part that really impacted our experience was the service at the end. My mom noticed I wasn’t thrilled with my dish and quietly tried to share feedback with the waitress. We weren’t asking for anything to be comped or replaced. She simply wanted to pass along the feedback. Unfortunately, the waitress repeatedly interrupted her and seemed more focused on fixing a “problem” than listening. My mom couldn’t get more than a few words in at a time. My mom softly asked her to calm down after trying to say what she was trying to say without success and the waitress responded loudly, “Did you just tell me to calm down?”

We paid and left shortly after. It was disappointing because the atmosphere was pleasant and my mom enjoyed her meal. I may have been more understanding if the restaurant was busy, but there were fewer than six tables occupied and several servers on the floor preparing for the morning rush.

Overall, it wasn’t the best start to our day. We walked out feeling confused and embarrassed and overly unsatisfied with the food or experience.

We recently visited Tangerine for the first time and had a wonderful experience. Our server, Maria, was very friendly and attentive. There were so many great things on the menu that we had a hard time deciding what to choose! I ended up with the vegan and my partner got the corned beef hash. Both were delicious. We went on a Friday morning so there was no line or wait. Highly recommend this gem!

Didn’t realize this was a chain, as it felt very local and was super clean. Decor was fun but a bit sterile. The staff was incredibly friendly. We had avocado toast and the multigrain pancakes. Both were delicious, and the cup of coffee I ordered was absolutely huge. I wouldn’t call this place inexpensive, but we felt like we got quality food for the money we spent. Would recommend.

We ate here during a trip in December and liked it enough that we had to come back. Despite it being a Sunday at brunch time they were able to seat the two of us right away. Our server was warm and helpful, the food was fresh and flavorful and served quickly, and we had a lovely time.

The Irish Benedict was outstanding to eat in their bright and cheery space. Service was kind and quick, especially for a weekend rush. Would definitely go back to try the elevated brunch menu. Well done!

The Puttanesca Scramble with NOT sourdough bread would be better labeled Puttanesca Soup. With one bite I knew it was not good. The waitress said it was loosely scrambled. Hmmmm The flavor was as watered down as the plate itself. Since the cook and waitress thought that this plate of food was properly cooked, I chose not to replace the meal with anything else. It was kindly removed from my ticket. I thought the prices were fair ($14.99) considering very limited food on the plate. I added a Thursday special of a side of bacon for two dollars.
This was my first visit to the Longmont location.

Delicious fresh OJ and really tasty food!! They make their own corn beef hash which is outrageously good. Henry (waiter) was super nice and quick with coffee and drinks! Two thumbs up! Sorry took a bite of food before taking picture, I couldn’t wait!

We arrived and told the wait was 25 minutes. We saw 4 couples, and 1 single who came after us be seated. Some lame excuse was given why. I asked why our money was different than the 5 people/couples sat before us. Then a table opened up, and the woman up front quickly sat another couple there while I was talking to the manager. Great customer service, and relations. You don’t want, or need my business. Goodbye from a regular customer.

It was a nice brunch place, nothing phenomenal but satisfactory. We ordered iced vanilla lattes to start, and they were very great, probably my favorite thing we had there. We also got a tomato and mozzarella sandwich with fries and brown sugar pancakes. The fries were good, but the sandwich just did not taste right. The brown sugar pancakes, on the other hand, were fine. I do not think I’d go back, but I’m glad to have tried the place. Heard the Boulder branch is much better.
