I’m not sure why other people had a bad experience here but the family and I went tonight (Friday 6pm) and most of everything was good. I will start with the not so good which was that I had to clean the bench and the table, and the potatoes were cold that’s it. The waitress was great! She was very attentive and on point. The food was very good. Even tho the potatoes were cold they were good. We had the all you can eat crab legs and they were so good. Sweet and juicy overall delicious. The lemon drops were on point! We also had pasta and catfish which were fresh and seasoned well. We came around 6pm and there was a DJ there which added to the experience. This was my 2nd visit and I see more in the future.

Opening day, shenqninagan Antoine did an excellent job making sure all clients need were being met. He checked in frequently, even if he wasn’t the one to take your original order. Great happy hour menu, great dj…Now… for the sta of improvement: food took waaaay to long to come out, one bartender spent more time on his phone then checking in on clients. No dressing besides ranch for my salad, not all the ingredients for a long island although it was included in the happy hour specials. I’ve got more feedback. I think this place “could” be great!!

My brothers and I visited this restaurant for the first time and we were not disappointed. We came on a Sunday evening and were promptly greeted and seated. The staff were courteous & friendly and the food was amazing. I had the crab-stuffed salmon served over mashed potatoes with asparagus. It was plated beautifully and cooked to perfection. I’d definitely recommend and look forward to visiting again.

The best part was the server, she was absolutely amazing. I was visiting from out of town and told my cousin I wanted seafood. He suggested this place, unfortunately at 9pm they were out of everything. I was not happy about it. My overall experience was great because of the server.

long Island from the time we order so they did take it off but that not the point we went out for a date but didn’t get a great experience but maybe next time

We had a 7pm reservation for 5 but when we arrived there were no tables available so we ended up sitting at the bar. It took another 45 minutes for our food to come and the crab legs arrived cold. I asked for water from the bartender 3 times and never received it. There were no crackers provided for the crab legs nor silverware. We were provided plastic ware to use instead. When we asked to order our second order of crab legs we were told that we only get 3 orders however it is advertised as “All you can eat” (definitely false advertisement). I certainly will not be back.

The food was very good and delicious also platted very beautiful but over priced. The ladies bathroom has two stalls and neither of them were you able to close the door to lock them. One of the sinks was clogged and filled with water. While waiting for our food the placed became very Smokey and a waitress had to prop the door open. I asked my waitress about it and she stated they were grilling burgers and this is actually normal. I had my six year old child with us and we’re about to leave because of the smoke. The manager did give my son a free desert and comped us our appetizer. When the bill came they already charged us a 20% gratuity which I did not like.

We were greeted by a friendly face the moment we walked in. It wasn’t very busy so we were allowed to seat ourselves. We had a great waitress. The wait time was good. The food was excellent! Will certainly come again. We had jumbo shrimp for an app. Fantastic. I had lemon chicken pasta. The sauce was amazing. He had blackened salmon. He said it was terrific. We also had a pound of snow crab. Outstanding!

I traveled to Detroit from Muskegon to celebrate my daughter’s 21st birthday. As a student of CCS who lives in the area, she wanted to come to The Crab Sports Bar for food to start the night.
1. The staff was amazing; friendly, attentive, and courteous!
2. The food was amazing. I had the Cajun dry wings. Wife had the Alfredo with Salmon. Daughter had the Salmon on rice and broccoli. The portions were huge. The flavor was indescribable, but something I’ll not forget.
3. The environment was relaxed, with obvious signs that they’re making improvements.
I can’t wait to come back for a visit. I’ll certainly be back!

Dearborn Carpet
We completed a carpet job for The Sloppy Crab 2 weeks ago on Saturday. The agreement was $750 for carpeting a stage and steps, and the owner Michael Davis clearly stated payment would be made in cash upon completion. Our installer worked hard and did a great job, but instead of paying cash, the owner gave us a check that had no funds
We called right away to resolve this respectfully, but to this day, we have not been paid. It’s extremely disappointing to be treated this way after delivering quality work in good faith. We trusted this customer and simply expect to be paid the $750 we earned.
