Honestly, this place isn’t anything special. They might have been great 10+ years ago at the original location but it feels very corporate now. The food was good, but not worth the price by any means. The portion sizes compared to price seems off balance for sure. Not thrilled with the portions. The Churro dessert left a lot to be desired. There are far too many places to get a burrito for $12+ that’ll be better quality and a larger portion. This is just my opinion, the service was really great and the chips and salsa seemed very fresh, but overall the food was really disappointing.

We were literally the only people there and the food was horrible. Forgot queso on the nachos, the corn was straight out of a can and so greasy it wasn’t edible. There was a whole layer of grease from the chorizo, pooled in the bottom. The chips were so soggy. I’ve gone to the original location for years and never had these issues. I’ll never be back here again. It’s unfortunate that I live close to this location but have had better gas station food. Not what I expected from such a great company.

We tried this place for lunch on a weekend. They have a good variety of food including nachos, burritos, quesadillas, and bowls. They serve big portions. It has a lively and casual atmosphere with indoor and outdoor seating. They also have an area with some games for children.
The chorizo quesadillas and the California burrito were good!

I had a burrito bowl with ground beef and it was very good! They were more generous with the protein than some of their competitors and the food was well seasoned. The young lady behind the counter was helpful with the menu as it was my first time there. Also they had my food ready quickly and it was correct to my specifications. They checked on me at least a few times to be sure I had everything I needed which was nice since it isn’t a table service restaurant.
I definitely recommend you check it out when you’re in the Fort Mill SC area.

Honestly was told better than chipotle by a friend and it wasn’t disappointed. The potions are better, food quality is amazing, freshly made steak was burrito was juicy with perfect flavour. Interior also had a comfortable vibe with a small game section mainly for kids and the customers service was great friendly interactions.

Okay, going into this I wasn’t expecting much from what I heard they didn’t live up to the original establishment of Charlotte. I was a big fan of the OG Phat Burrito and well to my surprise I am now a fan of this one here in Fort Mill.
The food was plentiful, flavors were hugging my taste buds into submission. Though I gladly gave in after the first bite of my Jerk chicken Burrito. The Yuka fries and the dipping sauce was refreshing and I should have ordered 2 portions instead of one as I was very sad when I ate the last one.
No photos bc I was to busy enjoying this flavor treat.

We ate there a few days ago. My kids and I kids definitely got food poisoning. We have had all of the symptoms for 2 days going on 3 now, hopefully getting over it! Missed school today. I knew the beef tasted a little off but I still continued to eat it. I could tell there was a funny taste. I’m not sure I would trust their meats to be properly stored.

Hubby liked the nachos (w/ ground beef) — I took a bite and it was good. My beef, rice, black bean burrito was ho-hum…way way too much UNseasoned white rice and hardly any cheese (and I asked for extra cheese). The chips are yum!
6/27 — the owner replied to my review, letting me know they’re working on fixing the rice, yay, so we’ll give them another try!

I love Phat burrito, the flavors hit for me and the green salsa is amazing. I’m vegetarian and love that they have tofu, beans and veggies. My go to is the burrito but then I tried the quesadilla they do not skimp on the cheese.

I have been going to Phat Burrito since it was in Camden. I’ve been to the one in South End quite a few times. I’ve been here a couple times. Both have been terrible experiences. I ordered a quesadilla with extra meat. I got barely a regular amount of meat. The outside of the quesadilla was barely cooked. The cashier did not know how to ring up the food. There was 15-20 kids running around making a ton of noise, running into me a few times. I know that can’t be controlled by the establishment, but just added to a terrible experience. I spent over $70 for two quesadillas, chips and queso and two beers. I will never go back to this location.
