Let’s just say it was very disappointing. We ordered some large cheese fires and the box was nearly empty for $10 not including tax. This was our first time ordering here and we will definitely not be returning to this establishment.

What an incredible and unexpected delight! I randomly selected this location as it was close to my workspace for the day and man oh man was I impressed.
Cashier was very warm and helpful—and quickly told me which meal was better out of the two I considered—she recommended the Chicken Club Sandwich. (I had been thinking of that or the burger melt).
10 minutes later I had in front of me a hefty (I hate small meals—I eat a lot)and fresh looking meal—PLUS a bounty of fries, some onion rings, and fried zucchini. That’s not all—aside from my surprise of its aesthetic—it was INCREDIBLE.
Fresh avocado, lettuce, tomato and who knows what else—sandwich led marvelously between the toast and tastes sublime. Similarly—the fries has the perfect ratio between fried, crispy, and potato—y, with a great flavor.
I could not believe it—I was expecting this run of the mill burger joint but instead found mouth-watering splendor. Total? $13.

Came here on a Saturday afternoon, dine in, couple families inside, employees were friendly , had a steak sandwich, chillie fries and cornbread muffin, all was good, no complaints, all was fresh, the meat in sandwich was good compared to many commercial places, will definitely be back to try and Angus burger and some pancakes. I’m always looking for a good mom n pop type place and John’s drive in did not disappoint, I’m keeping it on my list of places for a quick bite .

Friendly staff,the burgers are nice and fat and very delicious, they also give a good amount of seasoned fries enough to fill you up good you definitely get what you pay for. My only complaint is the soda machine has never been that good…
I’ve also had the Grande Breakfast and Club sandwich plate many times over the years and they are also very good, I really enjoy the coffee it’s flavor is very bold

It’s not bad to buy from here, I like their fries the most. The dine in is a nice place to chill (when they open it again) but nonetheless they have a speedy service. And they have different specials on the week days

They usually have ok food, I’ve had their burgers and onion rings, and the onion rings were seasoned well. I have gotten their chicken plate and the reibeye, I believe, but their ribeye plate was not great at all. The chicken plate is a hit and miss. There are too many carbs, not enough protein, and sometimes overly dry. The cost has gone up pretty significantly, and I understand everything in California has gone up since 2020.

Amazing food, phenomenal weekday specials. Biggest burgers with the thickest patties around. Chili cheese fries are delicious. Not that sweet chili either! You won’t be disappointed. Haven’t had the Mexican food yet, but if It’s good, I’m afraid I won’t be going to El Ranchito’s across the street anymore! Haha!
