When I try a place for the first time or it’s been a long time since I ate there I like to keep it real simple. I tried the chili . It wasn’t chili. It was hamburger soup that didn’t even really taste like chili. They dumped a bunch of cheese and chopped up green onions on it and gave me some over done semi-stale taco chips for some reason. My son said the chicken tenders were good. That’s even more simple than making chili so I guess they didn’t mess that up. They don’t even have beer on tap (edit, I did not see any tabs nor did I inquire so that is an error on my part) . Waste of time and money. The prices on the menu said don’t bother trying anything else on the menu. Not worth the investment of time or money .
EDIT
They can’t even make chili right . I also note in their response that they did not address the hamburger soup issue that I raised at all they just tried to deflect and say that I must be crazy and in the wrong place. I was definitely in the right place and the chips were a little stale because you leave them sitting out and they probably took from the top.. I did notice that.
I also know that it’s the lackadaisical attitude of my server who didn’t point out any beer specials other than here’s the beer menu. He was rather perfunctory

Cute little bar. Service was great. The food had no flavor. I was very disappointed with food. I was very excited for the bruschetta but it was not what I was expecting. Usually it’s served with bread not chips. The chips had no salt on them. The steak tacos had no flavor either nor did beans and rice.

Then I was over charged for the bruschetta. The menu stated it was $11 but was charged $15. The waitress did get that corrected.

My dad, brother and I, sat down for an evening meal before a long trip back to the Tri-Citys, after a tour at the university. We enjoyed their burgers! The atmosphere was awesome, friendly staff, good food. I would recommend to anyone going through the area.

I stopped at this restaurant on Liberty Street on the advice of a friend who works downtown. I ended up having the club sandwich which was substantial and delicious. The kettle chips that came with it were very good. If you’re in Ann Arbor, which has a plethora of restaurant options, you can’t go wrong with this place.

This is a nice little place to have some beers and some food in an easy going atmosphere. I ordered a vegetarian Tempeh burger with additional fries and cheese. The burger was really delicious, I especially liked the patty consisting of fermented soy beans and rice. Also the fries were ok. And I drank a kind of wheat beer that went well with it.

Old town is almost exactly as the name says, an old town but a charming young bartender (eager to make a name for himself) “Don” adds a bit of a modern flair to an otherwise dim bar. Don told me stories of his days in New York and his favorite baseball team the Mets! (Go Mets!) a quick suggestion of the chicken tenders sent my night into a perfect spiral of flavor and fun! If not for Don I fear my night may have ended on a sour note. Thank you Don.

I was sitting at the bar and met a handsome young gentleman named Don. We spoke for hours of his international travels and the New York Mets. I mentioned that I was hungry and he disappeared into the kitchen. He returned shortly after with a plate of the most electric chicken tenders I have ever tried. We parted and I never saw him again. I’m not even sure if he works there but five stars for Don. I was too distracted to notice anything else about the business
