Looks like it changed hands. Only Chinese working and managing. Food changed. Way smaller portions , eclair was half the size it use to be, fritters also cut in half and all still high priced. Koloaches was half size and the quality of stuffed ingredients are of lesser quality. Overall changed. Won’t be wasting my money there anymore.

Got donuts from this location during Mardi Gras for out of town family that looks forward to Meche’s donuts every time the are in town. There was hardly any glaze on them, so they were dry and tasted like plain fried bread. No one wanted to eat them, so I wasted $75 on dry, fried bread! We were all very disappointed! I won’t be visiting this location again.

I never received a sausage & cheese with jalapeño kolache that looked like this. Pretty sure this is not what it is suppose to look like. Unless, yall scaled waaaaaaay back on the croissant. Didn’t even eat it. It almost seemed like it was wrapped and baked with butter only, no bread. ‍♀️

I am most definitely not a donut person however Rickey Meches is the best donut I have ever eaten hands down. I first tasted their donut at work someone brought it in it was warm and really tasty. So I then went to the closest store to me and on my part I went late so the majority of choices were already gone however the donuts were not hot however they were still fantastic. I highly recommend their donuts by far the best.
