This is a sushi restaurant inside the J-Town building. You can see the chef making the sushi with all his heart. You can eat authentic Japanese sushi and sell it in an easy-to-eat package for lunch. The shop is small and you can eat at the counter or on an outdoor bench. You have to go early to eat this sushi. Sushi is sold out after 12 noon. I love this house so much

I’ve been coming here since about the early 2000s. I’m Japanese and my family and parents all agree this is equal to the best sushi we have ever had anywhere. Perfect sushi rice and fresh, quality ingredients. I’ve included images of the current take out menu/prices/hours of operation as of end of December 2021.

I got the matsu tray for Valentines day! A little bit on the pricier side but every piece was absolutely delicious. It’s worth the splurge. We were both full after finishing this tray.

I forgot what top tier sushi tasted like. Their menu is very limited, but everything is masterfully made. The rice is nicely cooked, the pieces are not too big and the rice isn’t too packed. Every slice of fish is exactly the same size. Those details are often missing from other take out sushi places in the city.

Seriously this place makes like the best sushi and I’ve gone to a lot of sushi places and have been really disappointed and this place just blew me away. AYCE is nice to be filled up with, but have been let down so many times. This place makes a case for quality but with reasonable prices. Will definitely default to this place when I want sushi in the area. I ate that piece of Sashimi squid , oh my God it melted in my mouth. Brought me back to memory When I was in Montreal eating at a fancy sushi rest. When I was trying to look for this place I was expecting a restaurant but it’s actually like a little small shop inside a marketplace, all the way in the back, but don’t let the appearance fool you because the food really speaks for itself.
