Cozy brunch place. Great atmosphere with beautiful christmas decor. Staff was really helpful and courteous. As for the food, it was good. Wish they had more vegetarian options for lunch. I ordered a garden omelette without mushrooms and it tasted great. My friend ordered egg benedict’s and she loved them. Also the has brown in the skillet was very aesthetically pleasing and it kept them warm and crunchy. Overall a great brunch place!!

We had a party of 9 and came for a lunch in. Saturday! We were blown away! Everyone raced about what they ordered and even though we are out of town, our group wanted to come again soon! The carnitas were life changing! The breakfast tacos and steak tacos were delicious ! The chocolate chip pancake and waffles were sooo good! The kentuckyana was also delicious! The kids love the chicken tenders and fries! Highly recommend!

First time coming here. I ordered the El Mariachi, my partner ordered the hot brown. My hash browns bowl had little to no seasoning, i was bored of eating it after a while. The hot brown was pretty good. Maybe just a dash of salt to the food would be a good option. Service was quick and the atmosphere was a usual brunch type feel.

Traveling Foodie
Love this place, we’ve been searching for a new breakfast restaurant since we moved out here years ago. All other places have come up short for the most part. Been here a few times, everything we’ve had has been really good, packed with flavor and good service. My only complaint about this place is there coffee had not been hot, it’s not cold but it could be about 20 degrees hotter. They have a lot of different choices compared to most places, with it being Hispanic fusion breakfast food. They do have regular generic breakfast options as well. Got the bloody Mary the one time we went and I love that it was loaded up. Decent prices and good food, can’t go wrong.

Sleepy Morning Rooster is the perfect spot for breakfast or brunch. It won’t break the bank, and the food is excellent. The Kentuckiana is a standout Benedict with a spicy, flavorful gravy that really sets it apart. You will not be disappointed—definitely a place worth adding to your breakfast rotation.

Sleepy Rooster? More like Wide Awake and Happy Rooster! The food was ridiculously good (pretty sure the French toast was made by angels). ✨ Savanna was awesome, friendly, fast, and had that “I actually like my job” energy that’s rare these days. 10/10 would eat myself into a nap here again.

Today was a great example of when you do great things and put great things into the atmosphere, it comes back to you tenfold. We originally went to another place that advertised brunch but was closed, so we found Sleepy Rooster and thank goodness we did. It was four of us for brunch, our server Tina was absolutely amazing. She was so sweet, she listened to our questions and answered them quickly and made accommodations for us. Our food was absolutely amazing, everything tasted wonderful and left us so full. The blueberry danish pancakes were OMG good. Anthony is so great! He was very accommodating and kept the drinks flowing! The atmosphere is amazing and we will definitely be back!! No pictures of the food only pics of the shots

It’s a quaint little spot with good food and decent service.
I had the Kentuckiana Benedict which is an Eggs Benedict on a buttermilk biscuit with breaded chicken. It’s good, especially with hot sauce, but I think it would benefit more from having the chicken actually on the biscuit rather than on the side.
The French Toast is very good.
Service was okay, The server was very friendly, but not very observant with regards to refills. Never offered to refill my coffee.
Atmosphere was fun and the music wasn’t too loud. We could easily talk amongst ourselves.

I’ve been here three times and its always soooo good. We’re from across the bridge, and we make special trips just to come to this place. This is a weird thing to rave about besides the food, but the orange juice tastes amazingly fresh and great, and its probably the best I’ve ever had. Our waitress says they make it fresh everyday and I 100% believe it, its amazing and I have dreams about it. Otherwise, the service is always very friendly and fast, the food never disappoints, and I always look forward to coming.
