I’ve been coming here since they first opened. I was excited because I’d eaten at the Topanga location many many times which was always delicious. Sadly In the last year the quality of the food has gone down. And the portions have gotten smaller. And tonight we ordered the Prik King – which we get every time- and it was soupy with sweet coconut milk sauce. It was cooked nothing like the usual spicy dry chili paste dish. I’m sad to see this place loosing its once delicious reputation.

It was completely empty when I went but the lady at the counter was super polite and patient as I looked at the menu. Food didn’t take long at all.
Food: 8/10
Thai food is amazing! And I love yellow curry over white rice. So besides the vegetable soup I also got the curry and rice. It was pretty good! Not the best I’ve ever had, but good. I also think for the price you should get a bit more of everything. I was given extra broth but I’m not sure if I was charged for it or not. Thai food is never cheap anyway and if it is, it’s normally garbage. So I think it’s fairly priced here and the food is good quality.
I would definitely come back again and I think this place is great for some Thai food while in the Bixby knolls area.

This was a cute restaurant and our server was nice and attentive. Loved the Thai iced tea and I wish we’d had room for some of the appetizers because they looked really good! The portion sizes were great for the price, as well.

Beef fried rice only had a few pieces of meat I guess they were saving the rest for the next customer. Thai iced tea with boba was served with so much shaved ice in it was impossible to suck the boba through the straw because the shaved ice blocked it. After I finished most of the boba was still at the bottom underneath a thick layer of this shaved ice. I suggested they try one sometime to see what Im talking about and the waitress responded that she has them all the time and “it’s good” they never said how was everything or thank you sir or anything really. They treated me like I wasn’t even there and I didn’t just get through paying 31 dollars of hard earned money for some fried rice and a Thai iced tea. If you want to be treated like you don’t matter definitely come here !

Cholada is amazing! We came in as a first time visit. The drunken noodles are scrumptious, absolutely delectable. Not only is the food delicious, but the service makes it all the better. A small business, Cholada has the authentic sweet service of a family-owned restaurant. I recommend this place!
