Incredibly thoughtful, knowledgeable, and attentive staff. Every dish was absolutely delicious, highly recommend the scotch egg and the duck if you go in March. Cocktails were great as well. The atmosphere was cozy and upscale without being stuffy. They were also very kind and accommodating around my wife’s rare food allergy. Just an amazing meal and experience all around.
Thank you to the entire staff for a wonderful evening. Hopefully we’ll be back soon.

Delicious! Favorites were the shrimp and grits, arepa, bread pudding, and salad. Carrots were a little too sweet. Biscuit was good, albeit a bit dry. Hot toddy was a great way to start the night. Those shrimp and grits….dang, cannot recommend enough…spicy, flavorful, piping hot.

Just WOW. 6 of us were lucky enough to grab a reservation here on a Wednesday night and EVERYTHING that we ordered every single person at our table with different taste profiles just LOVED.
Such unique flavor profiles using local ingredients! Gnocchi and rigatoni along with burrata salad were standouts, but we would order everything again on a heartbeat. Chef did some amazing things that are creative yet perfectly approachable.
Great service and wine as well. Definitely on our list to visit next time we are in Boston!

We had a great experience here for a party of 6 over Presidents’ Day weekend. They were sadly out of around 3 things which is why I am knocking off a star for food but everything was really wonderful
Andrew was an outstanding server … and we loved the friend oysters, radddichio salad, cocktails and the biscuits were amazing. We went in on the menu and almost got everything and all was fabulous
Photo attached of our crew after we stuffed our faces and made for a very happy baby inside of me

This is one of the few places that offers both a vegeterian tasting menu and a carnivore tasting menu. The staff, service, and food is exceptional. Spring and sit at the chef’s table and talk with Sam about his creations.

The vegan tasting menu was incredible! Every dish was the most creative, delicious we’ve ever had. As good as New York and San Fran restaurants. I don’t even know how to describe the food because it was so intricate and flavorful and gourmet. The mixed drinks were delicious and creative too. Can’t wait to try things on the regular menu as well.

I wish I could give this place more stars. This place truly is truly one of the kind. Every dish that came out was so spot on. It was amazing. The chef truly is a genius. What he’s doing back there with food in the style of everything of the restaurant is perfect. I’ve been to a lot of restaurants in my life and this place it is one of the best restaurants I’ve ever been to in my life best meal. And the bartender, was the same spot on with the drinks it’s not just one person. It’s everybody, and this place has it all hands down just wanna say thank you for the best dinner. I couldn’t ever ask for thank you, chef. I will be coming back all the time. The food was something else out of this world A+

We had a wonderful time at this restaurant. They take so much pride in their art and it shows. Everyone was knowledgeable about their craft and they use high quality, locally sourced ingredients. The best part was how down to earth they were. Sometimes, tasting menus can be really stuffy. We felt like we were able to get to know them authentically.
Thank you for allowing us into your world for an evening. It’s a special place.

Our first time trying this restaurant after hearing a lot of good things, and the food did not disappoint. The menu is fairly extensive and most of what we had were tasty dishes served by a friendly and efficient staff.
The moist thyme biscuit with the pimento and pickles was a great combination and large enough to be shared by two. I really enjoyed the acorn squash salad. Large slices of squash, crispy Brussel sprouts, pickled onions and greens with a fresh tasting dressing. This was my personal favorite dish of the meal since I favor vegetable dished. The Scotch egg looked great but tasted bland as a whole and the egg texture was tough. The shrimp and grits dish was really buttery and creamy as grits should be, but definitely very rich. The pork ribs were a large portion of three ribs and were tender and tasty. The arepa dish was interesting. I like the combination of the various components and it was very filling. The fried clams were served with clam chowder. Very nicely fried clams but the chowder was just lukewarm. Would have preferred it at a hotter temperature. We realized that we had ordered and ate too much so didn’t have room for dessert. But, will definitely come back to try other dishes.
So happy that we found another restaurant that focuses on serving good quality and tasty food, at reasonable prices. Special thanks to the hostess who accommodated us at a table instead of the bar as a last minute request. Even though we had to limit our meal at the table to an hour due to other reservations, service was quick and we were able to finish in time.
