I wa sad. I LOVE Big Woods… we don’t like close so it’s a special trip. Almost 2 hours. Today the waitress messed up my pizza, by the time it was fixed, everyone was done . I also hate when waitresses take the order without writing it down. Bill was $139, and as a server myself 20% is a minimum. This time, I just couldn’t. Drinks were refilled once (because we asked), we really were looking forward to a good time…. nope. Disappointed.

We always love eating at Big Woods. Today I tried the chicken pot pie. It has very good flavor, just not near enough filling to biscuit topping ratio. Fish and chips was good as always.

We absolutely love Big Woods in Nashville but cannot say the same for this location. We decided to give this place another chance which was a mistake. The atmosphere was not inviting to begin with but we understand that restaurants have their days so we didn’t think much of it. We sat at our table and immediately noticed a sticky residue on the top but didn’t want to bother for another table. The food is extremely expensive here and it’s upsetting when it’s just subpar quality. The beer tasted at the bottom of the barrel and again, it happens we are truly understanding about these things. Ordered a second beer and it tasted better.

We ordered a small ten inch pizza and received a second one for free due to their weekly special. The pizza was completely raw in the middle and was not edible. The crazy part about this, it isn’t the first time this had happened to us. It felt like that saying “fool me once, same on you but fool me twice, same on me.” We did inform the server that the pizza was raw, we weren’t looking for a freebie. He didn’t seem like he cared about the problem. The wings is another favorite thing at this restaurant but it’s never crispy and always rubbery. The service was really poor and there wasn’t a lot of people there. But in the end, spent eighty bucks still tipped the server well. It felt like we wasted our money which is not a great feeling. After giving numerous chances, this will be our last for this location.

Went for lunch on Valentine’s Day with my husband. We’d never been here before, and decided to try it out. It was an incredible experience. We had two very nice and very attentive waitresses. The food was delicious and overall had a really good experience. Will come again.

Our waitress was very unfriendly and seemed very much like she didn’t want us there. The other waitress and bartender seemed nice though. Brussel sprouts were very overcooked and tasteless. Cowboy chicken sandwich was good, but the slaw was bad and also tasteless. Waitress didnt even ask if we wanted drink refills. Bathroom was clean, but it was early in the day. The table had an errant slice of tomato and lettuce on it when we sat down, and which I cleaned myself. Also, as others have said the tables are dive bar disgusting sticky. Not worth coming back. I would note we have been here several times and it seems to be getting worse over the course of a few years. It’s too bad; we used to like it. Get it together, guys. 2 stars (and not less) since the sandwich was decent

We have been loyal customers at Big Woods, Noblesville for quite a while now. I genuinely love the food and atmosphere and usually visit about once a week. My husband and I always sit at the bar because we enjoy chatting with the staff and watching a game while having dinner and a drink.

That said, I’m really disappointed with how often we’ve had issues when trying to watch a specific game. This is now the fourth time we’ve come in, asked nicely to have the channel changed, had it turned on—and then, out of nowhere, it gets changed again. Each time, it’s been during a game we specifically came to see, and it’s been impossible to get it switched back.

What makes it even more frustrating is that it’s never busy when this happens. It’s not like we’re asking for something obscure or that the bar is packed with people wanting to watch something else. It just feels like no one’s paying attention or really cares what guests are asking for, which is disappointing for a place we frequent so often.

I truly hope management takes this kind of feedback seriously, because Big Woods has so much potential to be a consistent go-to spot for game days. Right now, though, it’s becoming harder and harder to justify coming in when the experience is this unreliable.

I’ve not posted a review like this for weeks, in hopes that it was a one-off situation, however this continues to be an issue.

Customer Service is important and this is a simple ask that goes a long way!

We just had a fantastic experience for our company holiday party! The Hard Truth room was set up perfectly and felt cozy with the fireplace. Our server, Andrea, was wonderful- friendly and attentive. The food was delicious and served on time. We really enjoyed the evening, thank you!

I love Big Woods’ pulled pork nachos and I have had them a million times, but this time around they were the worst I’ve ever had. Everything was burnt, there were minimal toppings of everything, and the portion size was smaller than normal. I really do love this restaurant so it pains me to leave a negative review. Also, we stood at the hostess stand for a solid 5 minutes while waitresses who were standing around just stared at us. Everyone else in our group said their food was good.

We went to this location because we usually go to the Mexican restaurant that is around the corner, but it was out of business. Thought we would try it.Food was great. Soft drinks were flat. Wife got the seasonal burger which she loved. I got the buffalo macaroni and cheese that tasted great but they served it cold. Took 30 minutes to get the problem fixed. Biggest problem is that there was no apology. When we sat down, there was a football game that had just started on the big TV that I was facing at the bar. I looked down at my menu. I looked up and they changed the game to a game. That was a route. Both TVs had the same game on that wall. At this time, I am not sure if we will go back.
