YGF Malatang is a great spot to stop while charging your car since the Tesla V4 chargers are right outside. You pick your ingredients and broth at the counter and they bring it out to you. The food was easy and fast and tasted good and spicy. Everything came out quickly and felt fresh.
Service was average, but we were able to get the last table. The place is decent overall and there were people constantly cleaning, which helped keep things tidy. The only downside is that the bathroom is a single shared stall, so there can be a wait.
Convenient location, solid food, and perfect for a charging stop.

One of my kids favorite restaurant. We love their food choices and how they have been trying to add more different varieties. The servers are always very nice and professional.
We went there again yesterday during Chinese New Year and they have set up a table for people to try to write Chinese Calligraphy 福 for the year of horse. It was a fun experience for the kids.

It was an exciting and surprising day. There was a lucky draw in the store and I was lucky enough to win a Labubu
I Strongly recommend the beef bone soup base very delicious. And the service staff are patient and friendly. It is a restaurant I visit almost every week.

If you are open to try different food, and like soupy based food, I would definitely recommend this place. It’s an interesting concept of taking different food elements, choose a variety between veg / non veg / vegan options… they weigh all you take and charge by weight.. min is 0.8 lb.. then they toss all you give in a soup of your choice. We tried the mild spicy beef broth. There are other options, even tomato based soup.
You then choose spice and other toppings like cilantro and green onions.
Overall a great experience, will surely try again

I enjoyed the idea of choosing my own ingredients for malatang, but I felt uncomfortable at checkout. The tipping screen had no option for ‘no tip,’ and the staff watched while I selected a tip, which felt a bit pressuring. I prefer when restaurants give customers the freedom to decide without added pressure. The food was fine, but the payment experience left a negative impression. Food is good but still tipped but the workers shouldn’t stare at the screen when the person is willing to tip or not.

Great malatang hotpot spot! The ingredients are fresh, the broths are flavorful, and there’s a wide variety of sauces to choose from. Service was friendly and attentive, making the whole experience enjoyable. Definitely a place I’d come back to!
What’s even better is my little girl got lucky and hit the lottery jackpot! She won a Labubu 🙂

Choosing to spend New Year’s Eve here on December 31st turned out to be a big mistake. It was our first time eating skewers at this restaurant, and we were unfamiliar with the ordering process. The waitress was initially very patient and explained that we needed to scan a QR code to place our order, and that if we wanted hot pot, we could select it and hand the order to her.
After scanning the code, I ordered a drink. However, when the waitress brought all the food to our table, I noticed that the oolong tea was missing. I pressed the service button, and although she glanced at me, she indicated that she was busy. I waited quietly. Later, she passed by our table to serve another table, and when I called out to her, she ignored me.
The third time she came to our table to deliver a second batch of skewers, I told her, “Miss, you didn’t give me the oolong tea.” She replied that they did not have any and asked if I wanted to order something else. I declined.
When I went to pay, the oolong tea was still included on the bill. I informed the staff that they should have told me earlier that oolong tea was unavailable and that I should not have had to ask repeatedly. Adding it to the bill despite this was unprofessional. I ended the interaction by saying, “Please take this drink for your tips !”

I went shopping at noon and found that a malatang was opened here. Looking good, I wanted to go in and try it. I found that there were many choices and many different kinds of ingredients and they were very fresh. When I came in, the waiter was very kind and patient to show me how to order. The first experience is very good and recommended. And come back for it.

Good broths, lots of options to put in. Be careful not to take too much food to be cooked although it makes good leftovers.
