La Dolce Vita is a celebration of family, friends and coastal Italian cuisine. Favorite items from our menu are the mussels, crab and shrimp penne vodka, seafood diablo, veal parmesan and house made lasagna. We offer nightly seasonal specials including a delectable selection of homemade desserts! Tables on our sound view deck are surrounded by flowers, so come while away the afternoon or get there in time to catch the sunset. The whole family is always welcome – we are handicapped accessible and have high chairs and family friendly booths.

Beautiful restaurant and excellent service from the hostess and our server Graceson. The food was absolutely delicious and fresh!
We called ahead because they don’t take reservations, just a call ahead. I would recommend calling an hour or more before you would like to eat. I mis- judged that based on other reviews I thought we could get in within a half hour but we had to wait an hour and 20 or so. It was definitely worth the wait. Just noting this detail for others to avoid my mistake.

When seeking Italian cuisine in the northern outer banks, this is the place to go! Modern elegant decor, decent service, satisfying meal.
Family of 4 had bread (the olive oil & basil dip was delightful, and cheese sticks (cheese pull over an arm’s length!) for appetizers, two glasses of wine and two sodas (standard) and four pasta based entrees (shrimp al limone, veal parmesan, and two chicken fettuccine alfredo) for just over $200
Pasta was fresh and perfectly cooked. Chicken with the Alfredo was over-seasoned and the al limone sauce was lackluster but shrimp were spot on (according to a teenager). Veal was perfect and the chunky marinara was spectacular!
Overall, would go again and everyone left happy & full!
Salads or sides do NOT come with the entree and must be ordered separately.

Unbelievable! By far the best Italian food and pizza we have ever eaten. Who knew we had to come to the outer banks to experience such a wonderful meal. Portions are enough for two, drinks are top notch and the service was 5 star. Highly recommend sitting outside. We sat on the patio around 7 and enjoyed a beautiful sunset. Our waiter was also friendly, attentive and very professional. This will be a regular spot for us in the years to come.

Great Italian restaurant in Corolla! Mozzarella sticks and salad for appetizers did not disappoint! For dinner, ordered the chicken Parm, zita with sausage, and chicken Alfredo. Portions so large was able to take over half home! The dishes were very classic Italian tasting meals . What would have made this perfect was a side starter salad and bread to be included with the meal. Spent about $225 for the four of us, including tip, but if you want delicious food with great service and atmosphere, it’s worth the money. Suggest call ahead seating as the wait during the week was an hour.

Started with a couple of delicious watermelon margaritas and the Mussels appetizers. Mussels in the white wine broth were really tasty!
For the entrees we tried a couple specials: lobster ravioli with lump crab meat and pan seared scallops with orzo.
Both were cooked really well, pasta was perfectly al dente and was full of lobster and crab.
The scallops were seared perfectly and came with a lime wedge and red pepper flakes. Really enjoyed it!

Amazing dinner experience! Our sever, Melissa, was amazing. So friendly. Highly recommend call ahead seating during peak hours. We ordered the crab & shrimp penne alla vodka, shrimp al limone (extra shrimp), and the alla Bianca pizza. Portions were huge and delicious! Highly recommend!

This is one of the best Italian places to eat when vacationing at Duck or surrounding areas. Everything is huge, so come hungry. Comfortable booths or tables to sit at, along with outdoor seating. Didn’t get to check out the view outside, but the views inside were pleasurable. Thanks Melissa. Will be back soon.

We have been coming here for 15 years now and have enjoyed the growth in the business. The food is always amazing as it is a secret family recipe for the sauce. The staff has always been consistently nice and helpful. I always love the Seafood Diablo and my wife likes to change it up every visit. So I get to try other items. Wine list is very nice and has won awards. We do make it a priority to get here. So come on in and try some great food. It is gonna be worth the trip for a great experience on the OBX.
