If you’re an ice cream lover, you need to stop by Sweet Retreat in Liberty Hill! This cute little shop has so many big and fun flavors to choose from! The decor of the shop is pink and bright, with lots of photo opps all around! There’s a good amount of seating to choose from, whether sitting at a regular table, a comfy couch or on a barstool. The woman behind the counter was very sweet, offered us samples and was willing to help with any questions we had. We all got Moose Tracks and it was delicious. I can’t wait to go back and try it in milkshake form! It was a bit pricey ($25 for 3 people), but I do think it was worth the price for a fun treat!

What makes this local Ice Cream Shop EXTRA special is how family-friendly it is! The staff is so kind and patient with kids, happy to let them sample before they decide! They treat everyone like a regular. There’s plenty of seating inside and outside, and it’s the spot where you can hang out, play games and enjoy!

If you are in the Liberty Hill area… we finally got the good stuff!! I’m not even an Ice Cream fan really and I’m usually the one rallying my family to go get a scoop!! Don’t sleep on the Mango Carrot sorbet (taste like apricot!!) or the PB Hearts! But there are SO MANY good flavors!!
Owners and staff are all super personable and are excited to get to know the community more!! Keep them in mind for your next fundraiser or family outing.

Sweet Retreat Ice Cream on Hwy 29 (right next to Jardin Corona) is dangerously good — and I say that as a recovering ice cream addict.
This place has all the charm:
✅ Retro vibes
✅ Chandeliers and checkered floors
✅ Monthly flavor specials that slap
✅ And most importantly… ice cream so good it should come with a warning label.
I walked in thinking I’d just “sample” a scoop.
I left wondering if I should sign up for a 12-step program.

We absolutely love Sweet Retreat in Liberty Hill! It’s the best ice cream we’ve had! Amazing flavor choices, and the vintage feel of an ice cream parlor is so inviting and comfy! It’s easily become our go to spot when we are craving ice cream! The staff is all super friendly, too! It’s a total feel good vibe with everyone we have interacted with there too, customers alike! Banana Cream Pie is my fav so far, but don’t sleep on that carrot mango sorbet! Good Lawd- it’s all soo yummm! If you love ice cream- THIS IS THE SPOT!
