Good food, good value as long as there isn’t a wait. Staff is friendly and helpful. This place can be packed at times. Outdoor seating is nice. Chips and salsa upon seating, I normally fill up on the chips before my meal arrives.

Wonderful food, service and Margarettas. I can’t believe after all these years I haven’t eaten at this local gem. We will definitely be coming back!

We love the carnitas, perfectly made. Clearly someone who knows what they’re doing is in the kitchen. Great fresh hot chips. Good priced margaritas and beer. The beans and cheese were also very fresh and tasted amazing. Little small place but really good value Service was spot on as well.

Great food for a fair price. I really like the enchiladas and their salsa is excellent too. Definitely worth a stop.

Some of the best food we’ve ever had. We got the Cheese Dip with the works and the Fajita burrito and were blown away. Definitely a must try!

My family and i went to Las Playas in Blue Springs and had a great time. The staff is so friendly and even helped with my meal and making it gluten free. If you want authentic Mexican food, this is a great restaurant to try. I took a few bites of my seafood enchiladas before taking this photo so excuse the less than perfect pic. Enjoy your trip.

Use to be our favorite place to eat. Last couple years the quality has gone way down. I dont know if its new owners or managers but whatever it is they are failing

Very good food! The staff was friendly and attentive. All the food was hot and fresh. The chips, queso, and salsa are all great. Much more laid back atmosphere than some of the other Mexican places in town.

We’ve tried the restaurant twice under the new ownership. This has been our Taco Tuesday & margaritas on the veranda summer ‘go to’ with friends for several years, but sadly we’ve concluded it’s not near as good as it was under the former owners and we won’t be visiting as we’ve done in the past. The food wasn’t bad, but nothing special. The tacos actually had more filling and my husband said the Burrito El Toro was better. The Fajita burrito and chips & salsa were just okay. Nothing remarkable. It wasn’t very busy so service was okay. Again nothing remarkable though. The prior owners and servers were much more interactive and friendly. Our biggest disappointment was the frozen margaritas. They used to be well worth the money. Now they are very underwhelming with very little tequila in them. Additionally they’ve increased the price on just about every item. Hopefully they read reviews and take some action for the better. Otherwise, they aren’t likely to remain in business very long.

I love the taste, the rice and beans and enchiladas were just what I hope they would be. a very traditional restaurant style. the salsa was also great, maybe a tad on the spicy side for some.
