My first time visiting here in person. Saturday afternoon, not crowded at all, 2 other guests ahead of us. We ordered 2 dozen mixed crabs and a pound of mussels. The crabs took longer than I expected, mussels came out first. They have a decent variety of seafood outside of crabs, such as crab cakes, seafood boil bags, down to shrimp salad, pretty good deals and specials written on the outside glass. I don’t eat crabs do I can’t comment on the crabs that were purchased but my family tore them up! I think this location in a win in my book.

Nothing fancy here, just really good seafood at s fair price. BluePoint almost always had fresh crabs even when other local places don’t. They also usually have bigger crabs available. We just bought 3 dozen oysters that fresh and delicious. We ate 18 raw and 18 roasted. Their service is friendly and efficient. I was greeted immediately, but the young lady at the register didn’t know anything about the food. Each time I asked her about something, the response was “I don’t know” while shrugging her shoulders. She didn’t know the prices either, and didn’t call to anyone to find out. Everybody in there was so busy chatting with one another that no one tried to sell me anything. I did buy several things, and none of it was memorable. My lump crabcake didn’t look or taste like lump crabcake after it was broiled. My carrot cake cheesecake lacked flavor too. The cheesecake portion was too rich, like margarine, with a margarine after taste. She forgot to give me a copy of my receipt and when I asked a second time for a copy, the 2nd young lady who came up front to help, rolled her eyes, handed me the receipt with the total (not a detailed receipt that shows the cost of each item) and sat back down behind the counter looking at her cellphone. I had to ask for silverware with my takeout order. I was not given any napkins. I was told that cocktail sauce is an additional .50 cents, so I passed. I have never had to pay for cocktail sauce when I order seafood. They do offer a comfortable bench for customers to sit and wait, but there aren’t any tables to dine-in. There’s free parking in the lot in front of the little strip of stores where this store is located. I’ve only driven by there on weekends, and it has never been crowded.

Terrible crabs. Take your business elsewhere. Ordered two dozen crabs and over half were spoiled. Of the crabs that looked ok that we ate before we realized the extent that were rotten, we all got sick even from the few that looked ok. Business is unwilling to offer a refund.

Ordered 2 dozen large crabs for my birthday to eat with my family. Quality was extremely mixed and nothing like we got in our orders from prior years. 4 crabs were so light and had next to no meat. 7 were overcooked. 1 was slimy and immediately discarded. 6 were good but could be so much better. Rest were just ok. The claws were often missing and out of the few we ate, were very dry inside. I asked for normal seasoning but the crabs were quite salty. Not sure what happened to quality control here. Disappointed.

Cream of crab? More like flour and water. Worst I’ve ever had. Not worth $8 at all!
Crab Fries could be much better. Not worth $12. I don’t think I got a single chunk of crab in either the soup or fries. No value here and it doesnt even taste that good.

First time visiting this location as I’ve just moved not too far. Mother’s Day was super busy, but the team members worked diligently and professionally to get everyone their different orders. I went for crabs. They were really good. My family loved them. I will be back to try some of the food they have on site.

Order a fried hard crab. The batter was thin I couldn’t even get it off the crab. The crab itself was cold. 22.00 dollars I wasted. I would never recommend Blue Point. Not sure if new owner or cook. But this is about the fifth time I been there in there last few months. Last year we were in buying something every week. Very very disappointed & dissatisfied.

This store has me to the POINT of no return….to any other places . I love love love coming here. If you’re just as critical and picky as I can be this is the place for you. I won’t get my crabs ANYWHERE else. They are heavy, seasoned well, and always come out hot . Never have I ever been disappointed. Even if I happen to get a not so succulent crab or two (because nothing is perfect) I simply bring them back to the store and they will readily replace them. I’m always impressed with the customer service and efficient work they do to get everyone’s orders out, even on their busiest days. Which is why I make it easier on everyone and call ahead to let them know when I’ll be on my way! Not only am I gruntled with the customer service and crab quality I also take advantage of the weekly specials and prepped/hot food they have to offer. Especially in the fall I enjoy entertaining every Sunday for the Ravens games with my friends and family, and the weekend 3lb shrimp special is a must have for the food table . There is no doubt I could easily go on about my satisfaction I’ve had for years at Blue Point. They have been apart the community for a long time and being a local I love to see family owned businesses thriving in this small town. As long as I live here I’ll always get my seafood from Blue Point
