Had lunch here on the recommendation of a friend and was urged to try the Christmas sandwich — and it didn’t disappoint. It’s essentially Christmas dinner in a toasted sandwich, complete with delicious gravy. The ham, turkey, brie and stuffing were excellent, and served with chips it represents great value at €16.
The staff were genuinely lovely and welcoming, and the coffee is superb. The only real drawback is the size of the place — it’s quite small, so arriving early is advisable — and parking can be a challenge. That said, we loved it and would happily return.

Ordered delivery so can’t say much on service and atmosphere! But the lasagna is the worst lasagna I’ve ever had it was awfully watery and no real taste of it at all horrible! The chips were hard and not salted at all the açaí bowl had 3 tiny pieces of strawberry on it and the chocolate and granola were very bad quality! And I don’t even know what to say about the garlic bread it wasn’t garlic bread at all! Used the love the food here so much don’t know what happened

Delicious food made with top quality ingredients. This small restaurant is really a hidden gem and needs to be experienced. The intimate setting gives the place a homey and inviting atmosphere and the staff are excellent.
Additionally, a great option to order a take away for at home. For lunch, dinner or just a sweet treat and a coffee, you won’t be disappointed!

Hi La Cucina,
I’m sorry that this isn’t a positive review. I’ve always enjoyed coming here, and the rolls and cakes used to be excellent. The cakes were once kept safely behind glass, which made sense in such a small space. Now they’re beside the till, and I found myself leaning over to get my coffee and trying not to bump the cakes. As I was leaving, another customer’s woolly jumper brushed very close to them, which felt too close for comfort.
The rolls, once beautifully made, like the ciabatta with mozzarella, pesto, and aubergine, have been replaced by a simpler sandwich. The bread was soggy, the filling minimal, and overall it didn’t feel like something worth €10.

Just a little goldmine in university court càtletroy limerick with a view tables and a takeaway service. We went recently with local family members and I loved it so much I went back following weekend with my son who said the same. I also believe there’s a lot of munster players frequent it too .

Had a light snack with a friend to catch up, ordered the Al Pomodoro bruschetta. There was a good portion of tomatoes with garlic and olive oil on the bread but needed more bread to balance the flavour of the tomatoes otherwise you would have some left over. The mocha is a really nice drink that goes well with it. It’s a good place for a bite to eat but kind of cramped. Service was very good, the staff were friendly and efficient!

The variety and taste marks this restaurant out as the best italian in Limerick in my opinion. Staff and service matches the intimate and homely space and atmosphere and the passion for food is obvious. Delicious food made with top quality ingredients. A real gem.

We are long term customers, I come with both my girls weekly and Eoin is normally there. My eldest daughter has autism and today we had her support dog with us, a tiny teacup chihuahua, she was in my cardigan. We were told rudely by a guy called Martin that we had to eat outside with the dog, it was raining and wet!!! We feel we were treated so rudely with a complete lack of understanding of Autistic support dogs and my child. We are always treated brilliantly there by Eoin, but this guy Martin has absolutely no empathy and is in no way welcoming, he is in fact rude and lacking in any customer service. We left rather than sit outside in the rain, Martin was putting up an umbrella outside when we left as if we were expected to give over money to pay for a meal and sit outside in the winf and rain
