Pulled off I-81 at exit 45 to switch drivers. Saw this restaurant and thought “why not.”
Turns out, they have “the best fish tacos east of California” per my wife. I totally agree. SUR 81 looks like a small family operation. Absolutely worth stopping by.

Absolutely one of the best breakfast places I’ve stopped at a long I-81. Sausage gravy was excellent, pancakes were thinking and very tasty. Earl grey tea. Fruit cup with breakfast special. The house hot sauce was incredible . Definitely a nice place to eat.

Fantastic crew and fantastic food. They tend to make the biscuits and their gravy sweeter than Im used to so Im not crazy over either of those. But their burritos, pancakes, and meats are where they really shine. Pretty sure I could eat a whole pack of their sausage links XD. Fresh squeezed orange juice really hits the spot as well. I hate regular orange juice all I can tasts is the rind so fresh squeezed is an absolute treat! Their burgers are also absolutely fantastic and a great price! I hope they add an entrance from the left of the median on hwy 16 one day so you dont have to turn around.

I grew up right down the street, I know how tough it could be to keep a quality restaurant going in this area and this side of Marion.
I now live in Raleigh, NC where there are many restaurants and I believe that this stacks up to the places you would find in a city.
Julian (I believe that was his name?) was a great server with positive energy the whole time.
The gravy and biscuits along with the coffee was so good. They do takeout as well!

This is a popular lunch spot. It is conveniently located just off interstate 81. They serve a large breakfast menu all day. The hamburgers are excellent. They start serving burritos after 2pm.

I initially went for the breakfast I seen on here, but I was sad to find out it was not an all day option. So I got the shrimp tacos, loaded steak fries, the Donitas (I think) and pink lemonade. The food was delicious. I still can’t believe I ate it all. I will be back for their breakfast. Their service was great and the wait time for the food was not long at all. 100% recommend!
